I had the eggplant manicotti dinner. The salad was slightly soggy like it was pre-made and sitting a while. It was also only slightly cold. The bread was room temperature and unappealing. It would be nicer to have a freshly made cold salad with more than two dressing options (Ceasar and house) and the possibility of adding blue cheese crumbles. There is nothing better than a cold, freshly-made salad with a flavorful dressing and warm crusty bread. The house dressing was tart, but not flavorful. The dipping oil for the bread was flavorful. The eggplant was rubbery and the filling was not flavorful and gummy. It would have been better if the thin slices of eggplant were battered in a flavorful batter and fried then stuffed with a creamy flavorful filling. The fried eggplant manicotti would offer a warm, crusty contrast to the soft pasta. There was not enough sauce on the pasta and the pasta was not as hot (slightly warm) as it could have been. It would have been more appealing to have the pasta dish steaming like it was freshly made. Table service was excellent--friendly, quick and attentive. Front door greeters were great--attentive and friendly. Would have been better to have Coke Zero instead of Diet Coke. Coke Zero tastes better and not like a diet drink.
