The place is not well kept at all. Weeds everywhere. Mounted animals from 50 years ago falling apart. Butterfly gardens that looked awful. A turkey buzzard, fox, and a hawk was all that they had as animals outside. A tree house for kids. Not much to offer.
Was there Sept 12th. Not worth the stop.

My kids go here for summer camp, and it's a great program. We asked our kids to give us a tour of the place. They loved it and enjoyed showing us all their lean-tos they had built, where they cook their fish that they catch and the clay wall, where they learn to make pinch pots from natural clay. Grande finale-- tree tops, the amazing tree fort. This place is great for those who enjoy nature, as we do.

We stopped here along our drive to seek the rest rooms. Not only were the rest rooms new and clean, but the view of the falls was very impressive and reading the information boards about the history of the site was very interesting. It was a nice break and a memorable part of our trip. Glad we stopped.

Largely exhibits of dust-covered taxidermy. Tree house was interesting. Did not see any butterflies.

The best part of my experience at the nature center was the live wild animals. They were all cute and it seemed like a good place for them to live. The museum itself is okay... could be a little more interactive. The tree fort is awesome and well liked by my young companion.
