G-children ready to apply in a few years after taking the tour. Buildings of all periods are well designed. Walks numerous. The bell concert is great and some took the tower overlook. Sage Chapel is exceptional and the wedding there could not have been better. Some family had ice cream at The Creamery and couldn't praise it enough. Cornell is beautiful and we liked Ithaca.

Not only is Cornell a beautiful campus, the surrounding areas in the Finger Lakes region are remarkably wonderful to visit. Don't forget to take advantage of the many fine restaurants, wineries, breweries and cideries in the area.

Definitely a hidden treasure right in the middle of campus; 10-12 waterfalls all along this beautiful gorge (down down down we went).. then we had to go up , up , up to get back (552 steps), Loved it!

Sage Chapel (nondenominational church) where lots of people get married is depicted in the photo above. Uris is home to the Andrew Dickson White Library (feel like Hogwarts). Cornell Chimes is a 21-bell chime in McGraw Tower on the central campus of Cornell University, aside from the bell/clock tower sounding off the hour, a concert of the bells can be heard daily and one can climb the tower during the concerts to gaze at the bells and 360 view of the school, Ithaca, and the wooded Finger Lakes area. The bridges across the gorges are a fun site, There is bowling on campus. There is also the famous dairy, which features one of the best tasting varieties of ice cream in the US.

This review is on the campus and has nothing to do with academic excellent.

If you are in Ithaca, make sure that you spare a couple hours to visit Cornell University. The main campus is located on top of the hill overlooking the city of Ithaca. Many of the old original buildings are still in operation with many new buildings blended well with the old buildings. In addition to a few good museum, Cornell is also has nice nature trails on Campus. The Botanical Garden and the Arboretum are worth visit. From Ithaca, there are a couple bus lines service to the main campus, A great uphill walking from downtown Ithaca if you are a walker.
