We visited Jamestown for a wedding and spent three night at The Oaks. It was a delightful accommodation. We had the Brandywine room which had a very comfortable king size bed. Richard, the innkeeper, went the extra mile for us by catering to our vegan diet. We would have been happy with oatmeal and a little fruit. But Richard, with a little help from Wegmans and the cookbook he purchased especially for our visit, delighted us with vegan french toast. The fruit and berries and the parfait were just great. A totally satisfying stay.

Room Tip: no kids activities or pool...couldn't figure out how to unselect.

It was a cozy and comfortable place to stay. I loved the breakfast and there was plenty of food. You did not leave hungry. The rooms were great and the beds were unbelievably comfortable. We were in the Brandywine Room and it was very nice and furnished very nice. If I was headed that way again I would definitely return. The owners were extremely nice and hospitable. I loved the look and style of the B&B inside and defiantly outside as well

We stayed one night in the Belvedere Suite. It was beautiful, and comfortable. The owners were wonderful hosts. Breakfast was outstanding. There was absolutely no downside to this stay. I will definitely stay there again, and hopefully the next time it will be for more than one night.

Once again Richard and Rose took very good care of us! We stayed in the rose room, it has a bath which is original to the home, it is the original art deco tile with a deco fish inlay. Our Niece and Son in law stayed in the Belvedere room, High ceilings with beams, another nice room with in room restroom. The breakfast here is like no other! started with a casserole, scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh fancy cut fresh fruit, Yogurt with fruit and pecans! homemade Banana bread and more! it never ran out! The beds here are the most comfortable I have ever slept in! It is so quiet and peaceful here, you would never guess you are only @ a mile from downtown! If you are coming anywhere near this area, you need to stay here! Just another tip from your uncle vic!

Room Tip: Richard will go into great detail to help you choose a room! They all seem to be nice.

This place is a true labor of love for the proprietors Richard and Joe - painstaking attention to detail at every turn. Cozy inviting room with a great bed, lavish breakfasts, situated on a street shaded by tall old trees and featuring many other stately Victorian homes. A brisk walk from downtown and an excellent staging point for day trips around Chautauqua Lake and to Allegany State Park. Only one minor issue - it seemed that regulating the water temperature in the shower was a bit of a challenge.

This place is delightful. Our room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was fantastic. Two tiny things would make this place even better: air freshener or candle at the entrance and TV listing (see? Little). When you enter the house, it smelled musty. A candle that smells of cookies would really help. Would stay here again. The owners are wonderful.

A warm, inviting, luxurious bed and breakfast. Located in an old mansion on a tree lined street in Jamestown NY. Close to downtown, close to Lakewood, nor far from Chautauqua Lake! My husband ans I stayed in The Belvederee room which is very spacious with beautiful architectural features, huge bathroom with walk in shower. Lovely furniture, comfy bed, we had a wonderful relaxing stay. Richards breakfast was delicious and generous portions. Richard and Joe made us feel pampered . We celebrated our 8th anniversary at the Oaks. Looking forward to our next visit!
