Went to Bethel Woods for a concert and stayed at Samba Inn for 3 days. Its a nice homely place, clean, and conveniently located 10 minutes away (back road) from Bethel Woods, so you will get to beat the traffic. Samba Inn really does look like the photos on their website with the creek in the back. There was a welcome plate of homemade pastries... was really yummy and a nice gesture after the drive up from NY city. The first night we couldn't sleep with the sound of the creek (which can be loud in the still of the night), but the 2nd and 3rd nights we didn't even hear it! Slept like a log I guess.
Samba Inn is located next door to the village supermarket so its easy to pick up some stuff before they close at 7pm. We also had a meal at Samba Inn. The service is slow but the food is pretty good. I wish we had more meals here but our time took us out as the neighboring towns are 20 mins drive away.
