Expansive restaurant, quiet on a Tuesday night during a rain storm which was nice. Service was excellent but they push too much food. A normal couple could easily get away here with two appetizers and sharing one fish. The wine list is very expensive but if you look you can get a decent deal on out of the way wines. Two appetizers, two main courses with one side dish ( not needed ) and a bottle of Greek wine from Santorini including tax and tip =$250. The place has a lot of sitting and is a zoo on Friday and Saturday nights ( according to our waiter ) if you want a scene.

Had heard a lot about One North and finally managed to get there. It is a very dramatic and beautiful space inside akin to something you'd expect to see in a large city. The menu is fantastic and diverse. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the lobster bisque, burrata with black truffle as well as the Dover Sole and the Lobster Pot - all excellent, fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. The ahi tuna poke was a little heavy on the avocado for my taste and didn't have any of the traditional poke flavor but it was nicely prepared and very fresh. I would agree with other reviewers that One North needs to perfect its dining cart system (the main course delivery was a little awkward, they arrived and placed the dishes without the waiter - or a word...), but other than that the service was really outstanding. Will be a favorite soon. Elegant, fresh, original, unpretentious and very nice.

One North is absolutely gorgeous inside --- dramatic vaulted ceilings, modern décor, giant vases of fresh flowers, marble accent walls, etc. The service was excellent and very friendly. The food had hits and misses, but was very expensive for the quality, overall. But the biggest issue was the noise level and music. I'm really not sure what they are going for, but throughout our entire dinner they blasted what reminded me of "house techno" dance music so loudly that we could not have a basic conversation. I could barely hear the person sitting next to me. We were a party of 6, seated at a round table, and I could not even attempt to talk with anyone on the other side of the table. It was extremely disappointing given that this was a group dinner and we wanted to talk with everyone. The waiter recommended the special Wagyu bone-in sirloin for two ($160!) which we actually split among 3 of us. It was tough and lacked flavor---a huge a let down especially for the price. The lobster bisque was delicious. The crab cake appetizer was quite good but very small for the price (only 1 with the serving).

We came here for our anniversary. It is a beautiful, very modern place with a large bar and an outside firepit. The drinks at the bar were excellent. We had the most wonderful service for our dinner. First the waitress, Theresa, came to our table and explained the mozzarella bar and appetizers. She was like our own personal waitress, she stayed so long. Then our waiter, Justin, came over and again, he also gave us a lot of attention. He was so nice and very professional. We ordered the imported mozzarella with Lucky tomatoes. The cheese was really good and the tomatoes, though not in season, were nicely marinated. We dunked our bread in the dressing. I ordered the Dover sole; it was grilled and filleted with lemon and capers. It is a very nice, mild fish, perfectly cooked. My husband had halibut. Also very good with a nice sauce. We shared broccoli rabe. It was a lovely dinner. For dessert we shared Greek yogurt with berries and honey delicious. It came with a candle to commemorate our anniversary. This is a great place for a special occasion or more often if you have the money to spend. It is worth it. We hope to return soon.

There were six of us and we arrived at 6pm. The external renovation of the late 1700’s building was fantastic. It is a little jarring to walk in and see this huge open super modern place with vaulted ceilings. If you want old school, go across Jericho to the Milleridge Inn.

One of the owners greeted us at the door. I chatted with him about the great history of the place. He left me with the sense that they wanted the building and were prepared to keep the landmark facade. But not much interest in celebrating the history of the place.

Service was attentive. My martini was strong. I had the octopus appetizer and the ciopino. Helpings were large and the food was good.

When we arrived the place was sparsely attended. By the time we left, the tables were full and the bar scene was busy.

Unless you are super wealthy, this is a special occasion place. The bill came to $120 per person.

Nice addition to the Scotto family of restaurants.

Thank Scott B
