“Very ordinary - nothing bad, but forgettable”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 August 2014

There was nothing you could point out that was poor, but it was nothing more than okay - a chain that felt, tasted and smelled ordinary. Nothing to remember ... we paid (reasonable enough), filled our bellies, and left.

“Offered undercooked hamburger”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2014

You gotta be kidding me. We visited the Ruby Tuesday restaurant in Binghamton a couple of days ago while our running errands with family. Two of us ordered hamburgers and the third had a Turkey burger. Nothing fancy or costly, just lunch food. The waitress left us flabbergasted when she wanted to know how we wanted the burgers cooked and suggested we could have anything we wanted including medium rare. When we decided she was serious,We made sure she understood that we wanted well-done. How can a restaurant offer its diners ground beef cooked anything less than well done and not risk serious illness to those diners.
The service was otherwise good and attentive, the food was as expected with a good portion. We had a good midday meal but left shaking our heads about what had been offered. If there is a safe way to serve ground beef cooked anything less that all the way through, I've never heard of it.

“Better than I remember it”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 April 2014

We ate at the Ruby Tuesday location in Johnson City, NY today. It was pretty decent...nothing exceptional, but average for a chain restaurant in a mall. We ordered off the salad bar, which was (once again) an average array of greens, fixings, and a few "salads" (pasta, potato, and apple), which filled in the gaps without going above and beyond. They did put a small plate of three cheesy-bacon biscuits on the table, which were good but a bit oily.

All in all this was a decent stop to fill the belly without getting into anything really extraordinary. I probably would come back for the price, but might check out the other local fare first.

“It was fine”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 February 2014

Ruby`s is located in the shopping mall near the Red Roof Inn. Service was fast and friendly. Food was ok and inexpensive, pretty much what one should expect from this kind of chain restaurant.

“Our most recent trip to Ruby Tuesday's at the Oakdale Mall JC”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 February 2014

We have eaten here several times since our last review in December 2012. The food is delicious the waitstaff is courtious and efficient. Prices are fair but a problem we have been having is the music is too loud. The last time near the bar was very loud and our server complied with our wish to turn it down. Every restaurant patron deserves a good atmosphere to eat in. Having the wrong kind of music for the decor or too loud makes for indigestion. This recommendation is for every restaurant not just this one. Keep the music loudness down so people can converse and not have to yell at each other while eating. If this cannot be done then don't have any background music at all.
