I am a local resident and had not viisted in 25 years since my children were young. What a mistake that has been. It really is the Grand Canyon type sites in amongst the Adirondack mountains. Walking thru the trails with many look out areas were only a tease until it opens up to the magnificent rock formations. Wear sneakers or the likes, you are climbing stairs and walking on the flat stones. I’m 68 with lots of arthritis and knee replacements but it was easy. We took the raft ride down the river and it is more than worth the money. You get to see it from a different angle and Tyler, our guide, had some pretty amazing history. Loved it.

Unexpected beauty. Well maintained trail with some elevation changes. Not extremely strenuous. A must see if visiting northeast New York state.

We visited the place last summer. It was a very scenic place and a must visit in the NY state. My elderly parents had a hard time walking around. But, it was totally worth the effort.

This place was way out of the way from our planned route, but the info we read and the pictures we saw piqued our interest. We took a huge detour and glad we did- very nice hike through the chasm and a leisurely float down the river made for a very nice afternoon. If you are a geology freak- go see this chasm!

Me and my friends are from Quebec and we had so much fun to visit the place and to do the rafting!
The place is beautiful and the customers service from Emily was really kind and well explained.
For the rafting, Tina and Nate were our monitors and they were very good at their job! It was very fun to talk with them and they accept to try some words in french, it was very fun and they gave us a wonderful tour :)
