“Great B&B”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

Lovely Victorian home in historic district, within walking distance of the attractions of the town yet in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Our room on the ground floor had a king bed, a very modern bathroom, and was extremely comfortable. The owner was charming and just the right amoung of chatty for us - very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. All told. we understand why this property receives such uniformly excellent reviews.

We had a great stay at this B&B. The location is great, walkable to the little downtown area, close to the waterfront, and not far from the area attractions. Our room (Legs Diamond) was very comfortable and clean, with a great bathroom. Alicja is such an excellent hostess - friendly, genuine, and very knowledgeable about the area. We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. Biking across Walkway over the Hudson, and lunch at the CIA are highly recommended when in the area.

Located in a historic neighborhood in Kingston NY, easy access to the Catskills and to Rhinebeck and Hudson NY across the river, and close to some great restaurants. The house is welcoming outside, but absolutely amazing inside. The innkeeper Alicia is charming, full of good stories and knows the area well. She makes great breakfasts and makes you quickly feel at home. Parking was on the street, but parking spaces were abundant. Would definitely go there again.

Room Tip: Go for the Babe Ruth room if possible.

Very quiet and relaxing. Hostess takes her job very seriously and very helpful in suggesting local attractions. House is kept pristine. A great place to stay if you want to explore Catskill/Hudson Valley.

This is a charming Victorian house that Alexia, our hostess/chef, has turned into a B & B. We had a spacious 1st floor room with and extremely comfortable King bed and attached bathroom with shower. Alexia prepared scrumptuous breakfasts each of the two mornings we were there and we enjoyed chatting with her in the kitchen. The location is a short walk from the downtown area with a number of cafes, bars and restaurants. The riverfront area is about a ten minute drive. Parking is on-street but we were able to park very close to the B & B throughout our stay. Try it, you'll love it.

Spent two nights at A Kingston Bed & Breakfast. We went down to see Joe Bonamassa in concert at the Ulster Performing Arts Center and wanted to stay within walking distance. We are very happy that we chose this place to stay. Alicia is friendly and accommodating. Her breakfast was delicious. The house is charming, decorated simply, but lovely. Would love to return again sometime.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Babe Ruth Room - upstairs - it's a very large room with a large bathroom.
