“Clean room, hard bed.”
Reviewed 19 October 2012

The hotel was clean, and the room was too. The service was great, and the room was adequately outfitted with tv and microwave. The bed was very old and hard as a slab. We had difficulty sleeping and woke up with vches and pains from the mattress. The matress was so old that the metal frame had worn through the fabric covering it. The staff were more than accomodating when we asked if they could help us. They didn't have any rooms available with newer beds, but they did their best to try to make the bed more comfortable by adding extra matress covers to it. Sadly, it didn't help. So, five stars for service, one star for the bed.

I was wary at first of booking a room at a budget hotel, especially for our wedding night. But this hotel turned out to be such a pleasure!! Very friendly staff, great accommodations, and very comfortable bed. I fully enjoyed my wedding night stay here!

A friend and I booked 3 nights for a festival. We checked out after one. I never do that. Not only did it smell slightly like pee had been covered up by Fabreeze, but the carpet wasn't cleaned totally, the bathroom wasn't tiled or grouted properly, and the front lock was coming undone.

It seemed to be a bit of a drug haven, as the characters hanging around were quite sketchy. My friend didn't even want to leave her computer or other valuables in the room. We stuck it out for 1 night, and when mutual friends came and looked at the place they actually demanded we come stay at their hotel with them.

The sad part? The front desk didn't even seemed shocked or ask why I was checking out early. It was almost expected. For the amount per night, it was ridiculous. I was paying $70 a night, it should have been $35! At least the staff were nice.

Room Tip: they have good rooms? Nope.

We chose this motel mainly for convenient location & Wyndham rewards, never having been to the area before. Motel was clean, staff was exceptionally friendly. We were looking for places to eat supper, and the young man at the desk recommended several very nice restaurants in town, after asking what type of food we preferred. I agree with some of the other reviewers that there was a smoke smell in the hall, but our room was fine-- clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was small, as was the room where it was provided, so on a busy day I suspect tables would fill quickly. This motel also appears to be pet-friendly. Our primary objective was a clean, quiet, comfortable place to sleep and shower, and this motel fulfilled this (we usually do not spend a lot of time in our room when travelling), no problem. We have certainly paid more for rooms and been much less satisfied!

Room Tip: "If you have any physical difficulties, you may wish to request a first floor room."

A little hesitant because of other recent reviewes, we nonetheless opted to stay and were very pleased. Our room was spacious, our bathroom clean, our bed comfortable. The staff was especially gracious and helpful; we needed to extend our stay and were efficiently moved to another room for the same rate. People who downgrade a continental breakfast, provided for their convenience, are just hard to please. We found the cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, hot drinks (available at all times), bread and special cinnamon rolls more than adequate and appropriate for the price. I would suggest some sort of removeable rug in the main entry; we had nothing but the carpet to use for wiping our feet. As with any hotel that permits smoking, some odor in the hall was noticeable. Our room was non-smoking and perfectly clean. We must also commend the staff for helping us with a difficult situation concerning some lost property (eventually recovered and only missing becuse of my carelessness). They were professional all the way. By they way, this is one of the few hotels we've stayed in in recent memory that had great water pressure in the shower and plenty of bright lighting!
