“Quiet, quaint, and allowed to relax”
Reviewed 23 October 2013

We stayed here on a holiday weekend, so yes it was packed. However,it was quiet and the staff were not breathing down your neck inflicting oppressive rules and mandates as in many other campgrounds.
We can relax the way that we want to without the staff interfering. It was a little packed, but I hear they are expanding next year. The price is great, and its in a convenient location.
The bathrooms are clean, but they have to do better at filling their TP.

Room Tip: bring a tent!!!

Great location. Love the staff. Quite, well laid out campground. Clean and well kept spacious sites. Easy access to Interstate 87 and local attractions. Good Sam discounts. Special rates for annual balloon festival.

King Phillips campgroung is a nice, clean and quiet place. Ideal for family and friends.
We stayed one week during summer of 2013. Staff was nice and showers are clean. All campsites are cleaned everytime someone leaves. It is close to the village and outlets and restaurants. I recommend Sushi Yoshi restaurant on route 9 if your are a Hibachi fan.

On the bad side, i would say that the Lake Gorge beach at the village is too small and that there is to much Seagull. The authorities don't seem to bother about this uge problem. We went to this beach only one time because we were bombarded by the birds with their crap.
