This is now my second visit to this hotel in the last 6 months. Lovely hotel set in beautiful gardens. Perfect pool area situated right on the beach. Breakfast caters for everyone from omelettes, eggs, bacon, sausage, cereals, toast, ham, cheeses, fruit and pasties. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel, the most friendly and helpful staff throughout the whole hotel. Enjoyed every minute of our stay here!

I travelled to the Senagambia Beach Hotel on new years day with my hubby for a relaxing winter break, we were not disappointed. the hotel rooms were basic but spotless clean and the tropical grounds were kept beautiful. We loved the daily bird feeding and took delight in watching the wild monkeys play. We stayed bed and breakfast which was fantastic you would have to be a right fusspot not to find something you would like as there is loads of choice!!!!! We ate in different places everynight on the strip and we did not experience any bad tummy.please give Gambia and this hotel a go you will not be disappointed.

We had a fantastic holiday at Senegambia Beach Hotel!
Within a beautiful garden several double chalets are located between palm trees. The rooms are basic but clean with airco. Breakfast & Dinner were perfect, tasteful & plenty of choice. The staff is wonderful, truly friendly & always smiling, they really make this hotel! Change your money at the hotel, you’ll get a far better rate than any ware else.

If you like trips or fishing, there is a place just nearby the hotel along the beach. Go right when you enter the beach from the hotel & search for the signboard “Always Lucky Fishing Boat”. These local guys are very warm & friendly, I’m sure they can offer you some great time at The Gambia.

It seems to have all been said! Hotel fabulous - staff are so friendly and helpful, weather glorious. Don't be afraid to joke and chat to the locals. Make sure you take pens, pencils, stationery - anything really - they are so grateful for everything. My husband gave all his tops away at the end of the holiday! Would def go again and wouldnt stay anywhere else. Visiting a local school is a must.
