I was just reading about John Brown when we visited his farmhouse. The woman guide inside was terrific. She knew a lot about his family and what life was like for them. She was able to answer any question posed to her. Nice statue and cemetery. Inside the barn was an informative video.

What a great place and informative. Learned some interesting things about a martyr. Great place to walk around if you bring your dog.

Interesting and worth a stop. Right next to the Olympic Jumps. And it's FREE! (Not much in LP is free). I think they charge a couple of dollars to enter the house, but the grounds are free and beautiful. Plenty to read and learn.

This was a very peaceful spot to visit. The docent was excellent. The signage was good. It does not take much time.

It was good learning about this man of principle and the price he paid for his convictions. The on-site guide was very knowledgeable. This is an accessible site and doesn't take a long time to visit.
