This charming small place is not in the center of Lake Placid, but is in the unlikely setting of a strip mall not far, so could be easily missed. The menu (so I am told) changes periodically, but if every meal was as tasty as the ones we enjoyed, I would look forward to new choices. Meals are a la carte, but portions certainly ample and they get a gold star for presentation. Our wait staff was attentive and by no means were we at all rushed. Because this is a cozy place (e.g. not large!), a reservation is advisable. For me, the only downside is that their wines offered by the glass are limited. In fact, only one Chardonnay was available, and to be frank, that tasted more like a Sauvignon Blanc than a Chardonnay.
