We were impressed by the size of their suite on the first floor well equipped with large fridge, oven and washer/dryer and also fully furnished. The hotel dining room is very surprising with à 20feet+ ceiling . The food was delicious but the menu for children provides very standard meal and a poor choice

An absolutely beautiful hotel!! Friendly and helpful staff. Everything was super clean. The hallways smelled like cedar and the rustic decor gives such a cozy feel. We loved the fresh cookies put in our room everyday and fresh flowers in the morning with breakfast. We will definitely be coming back!!!

I live in the area and took advantage of this great property to get away for a night. The Whiteface Lodge is amazing! The rooms are spotlessly clean and meticulously maintained. They must spend hours cleaning each room! I loved the patio and all the kitchen amenities! The chocolate chip cookies were fantastic and very comfortable bed. The attention to detail is superb and even the in room coffee was fantastic! The highlights for me were the indoor/outdoor pool and THREE hot tubs, s'mores and Zack in the lounge. All of the staff were fantastic and helpful. The Whiteface Lodge has a luxurious feel but is not pretentious or snooty. We loved our stay!

We've owned a fractional at Whiteface Lodge for a few years now and always enjoy our weeks away here. It offers the best of a luxury hotel but without the pretensions and a relaxed atmosphere. I always emerge relaxed and looking forward to the next visit. The location is great for getting out and about around the Adirondacks and for the Lake Placid village itself. Highly recommended.

We were here off season, in May and basically had the whole place to ourselves. I was the only person in the beautiful spa (steam rooms and showers) which are all really nice. The pool is gorgeous and this place would be a heaven on earth for kids. We had a suite with three rooms which worked really well for us, as a whole family traveling together. The outside fires with a covered room to hang out in are just delightful at night. The service is good and we enjoyed our meal at the restaurant. They have really nice artwork all over the hotel and the beds are very comfortable.
