We stayed here for one night over a mini 4th of July get away. We had a lovely suite overlooking the lake with balcony. I cannot say what prices are in the area because we did not look around. Our rate seemed high but perhaps it was not - and it was the holiday period of course.

Interior spaces are nicely kept up and lodge-feeling. Outside pool was nice and we liked the location close to town but on the edge. Room service was ok but the hotel very nicely took care of an issue we had.

We enjoyed the stay but feel like cleaning staff should clean the balconies as well so they are on par with the cleanliness inside. We shared our balcony with lots of spider webs and large spiders. I know they could return fast but I think these had been there for a while.

The hotel is immaculate with amazing views and great proximity to downtown. The staff for the most part was very good and always polite and the hotel grounds are kept up very well. The hotel is a bit pricey and expected maybe a bit more for what we paid. The TVs in the rooms desperately need upgrading. The bed was a bit stiff but they did accommodate us with a king when only a queen was available originally. They remembered that we were there for my wife's birthday (back when I originally made the reservations) and left a small gift in the room for her and even a birthday surprise when we ate at their View restaurant that first evening.
My wife did enjoy some of what the spa had to offer and really enjoyed it. The hotel was a great splurge and glad we did it but there are better values out there.

We've stayed here several times, and always enjoyed it. The rooms are varied in size, so your party can be any size and still be comfortable; the food is good but not uber-stylized; the town is very nice to wander through, and the lake is, of course, gorgeous. The hotel is across the street from the lake. Nicely done.

Love the private dock and proximity to the "main strip" but it is quiet because through traffic moves in the opposite direction of the inn. Somewhat pricey and a bit dated but, every autumn I look for an opportunity to return.

We were at Mirror Lake Inn for 4 nights last week. It is a lovely place with wonderful service. Rooms are very comfortable and the view of the lake is fabulous. Don't miss out on the wonderful breakfasts and the free use of boats on the lake. Dinner at the Taste was excellent. The Cottage was only fair.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a full view of the lake.

My husband, brother, sister in law and I stayed here overnight on our way to Quebec. We wish we had planned on staying here for more days! The hotel is just lovely- warm, inviting and well appointed. It is like the most magnificent B&B. The lobby and public rooms are decorated in polished wood and comfortable sofas. There are a multitude of cozy seating areas. The staff is friendly and helpful- they even offer fresh chocolate chip cookies on check in!
The rooms are beautifully decorated with fine linens.
For those who enjoy exercise, there is a fully equipped fitness room and a huge indoor pool. The spa is perfect for any facials or pampering.Breakfast can be included and is delicious and more than ample!
If traveling in this area and you want a luxurious stay in a beautiful setting, Mirror Lake is for you.

Spent three nights for our fortieth anniversary, a bottle of champagne was waiting for us! A great deal too because it was before high season. Everything about this place is first class but in an Adirondack way, don't expect The Hyatt Regency. We rented kayaks on beautiful Mirror Lake that seemed to have a bit of an algae problem that day. Attendant at the beach said it might be the tree pollen? They have tea time at 3:00PM, great coffee, Nice tea selecton and their famous chocolate chip cookies. Ate at The Cottage ( average for Lake Placid) and The Taste ( pricey, good not great). aso wonderful sunday brunch at The View/ a must

Stayed in a second floor Noonmark room, every detail was perfect. Kudos to the friendly staff;for those living in Ottawa it's an easy three hour drive. Oh ya, great golfing at Lake Placid Club and Whiteface Club.

Thank you for being our guest and Happy Anniversary again! We are happy that you enjoyed your visit and look forward to your return! It wasn’t algae on the lake, but rather pollen from the large pine trees, which doesn’t last long.
