I was born not far up salmon creek from the top of the falls, so the falls was in my back yard. I have nothing but fond memories, except when my older brother tried to push me over

This is not worth making a special trip out to see if you're not already going to be in the area. It was a very easy stroll across a tiny community park to see the falls.

In the historic hamlet of Ludlowville, in the Town of Lansing, is one of the finger lakes' best waterfalls. Walk to the back of the hamlet's small park to get a view of the falls from above. If you'd like to swim in the hole under the falls or just see the falls close-up, follow the fence all the way to the right (when facing the falls) and you'll find a path down to the creek. It's a challenging path so take care with children or grand parents. It's a wonderful place to cool off in the summer and is also amazing in the winter when the frozen water can create an ice cave behind the falls.

Beautiful out of the way waterfall....can be gorgeous in the spring but as of right now it is virtually dried up. Some great history, it used to be used as a back drop to film old movies. The town of Ludlowville has a great history for anyone interested. It is off the beaten path and a quiet neighborhood so please use respect when visiting!

The waterfall was not full, very green water. The falls are behind a park. The park had some trash on the grounds. Not what we expected to see at all!
