Travelodge Little Falls
Ranked #1 of 1 Hotels in Little Falls

Some good friends were getting married close to here and the Knights Inn is really the only game in town for Little Falls. I'm pretty sure the wedding guests booked up the entire hotel.

I had never been to a Knights Inn, but had very low expectations based on word of mouth and other reviews I found. I'm forced to say that I was pleasantly surprised. It's really not that bad. Don't get me wrong, it definitely showed 20 years worth of wear, but other than that it was fine. The rooms were clean and pretty big. The restaurant associated with the place has a very well priced breakfast menu.

Overall, if you have to stay in the area, there could be worse.

Easy check in, friendly staff, good food. Beds were small and the room smelled musty, but all in all a good stay for the price you pay. Small town and this was the only hotel, so they were outdated rooms, but the service was so good we didn't really notice. Enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant...the waitress was extremely friendly and really seemed to care and like her job. Little Falls was such a cute town and there are several gas stations, things to see, and drug stores very close--walking distance. I highly recommend checking out the overlook mansion while there. Great views and is can take the old stone staircase all the way to the top for an even better experience.

I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed not only the small town atmosphere but the equally wonderful Knights Inn hotel.

Decent parking, friendly staff and although older, nice clean rooms.

Hotel is adjacent to the 2-3 screen movie theatre (only one in town) as well as an attached restaurant.

The restaurant (Cassey's) is being reviewed separately.

Located across the street from a drug store and Dollar General - very convenient location.

Room Tip: Main floor rooms are mostly smoking rooms...

Stayed here for 2 nights instead of paying through the nose for a B&B in Cooperstown while visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame. While hotel was clean it was incredibly out of date and had a musky smell in our room despite being a non smoking room. When I turned on the AC an even strong musky smell circulated our room. The booking listed "flat screen TV" - it was not, the toilet made a ridiculous whistling noise after flushing and my favourite part - our window did not close properly so we heard all 7+ trains going through the town EVERY night.
Despite these issues I would still recommend staying based on price, situated in a cute little town right next to a drug store & a McDonalds.

Room Tip: I recommend requesting a room away from the tracks, I lost count of how many whistling trains passe...

We recently stayed at the Knights Inn and even though the hotel is a little outdated we would stay again. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean. The front desk staff was very nice when I called to inquire about the rooms and also when we checked in. Our group of 12 had a lot of fun in the lounge that night with "Kevin" the bartender. It was close to closing time for the kitchen but they were very nice and accomodated our food order. We also had breakfast at the hotel in the morning and the food and service were both very good. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We had six rooms in different locations in the hotel and no real complaints. I don't think ther...

We stayed for a friends wedding. The room was very clean, and the beds were more comfortable than my bed at home. It is a little dated, but the friendly staff and beds made up for not having WiFi in the room and no flat screen TV. If is very conviently located to the NYS Thruway and there are convient shops ($ General and McD's) right next door. We were a "lively" bunch and were up in the the early morning hours having an after party and did not receive any complaints. We would definatly stay again if we are in the area. Free WiFi in the rooms would be my nly real recomendation for improvement.

Room Tip: There is a lounge right in the hotel.

This Knights Inn is not going to win the Five Diamond award but is a good basic hotel about a half hour west of Albany. Its a little worn around the edges but the rooms were very clean. With a friendly staff and comfortable beds you can overlook the somewhat dated look. Little Falls has a nice downtown park where you can have a picnic and there is a nice smaller part time museum. If you want to stay in this area the Knights Inn is a good choice. If you want a fancier place just drive another half hour east to Albany or a half hour west to Utica. We got a good night's sleep at this Knights Inn.

Room Tip: This hotel is close to the railway. If railway noise will bother you ask to stay on the other side...
