Nothing fancy, basic at best. Very difficult to find at 1130p. Hotel is set behind a Best Buy Store. Signage is very small and cant see the hotel at night. Rooms are small and old. Breakfast was not bad.

After a very long and tiring day I arrived at the hotel. It was very easy to find and surrounded by a dozen or more chain restaurants, a mall, a great grocery store (although not one of the better ones in that particular chain), and more.

Check-in was efficient, although I had reserved a king room and was assigned a room with two queens. The desk clerk was helpful with a few small items I needed (a couple of paper clips, a paper plate, etc.)

The room was typical for a Fairfield with a small fridge and microwave, plus a coffee maker. It was clean and everything was in working order. The bed was comfortable enough, but not as comfortable as other similar hotels are offering lately.

My room looked out over the back of a store and a dumpster, fine for the 10 hours I spent there.

The breakfast the next morning was standard continental fare, well stocked and clean. There was a comfortable seating area with a wide screen TV that offered CNN, and a computer area with a printer--which came in handy when I needed to print some emails.

Frankly I felt that it was a bit pricey for a Fairfield. Would I stay there again? Maybe, maybe not--mostly because I think I could find a hotel closer to where my business meetings are held at a similar rate for a similar property. But there was nothing inherently wrong with the place, and all of the surrounding stores/restaurants made for a lot of convenience.

The location is great if you are staying in the area for more than one night. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and shopping, though most of them are popular chain stores and restaurants. You don't need a car if you want to stay in the area because so much is within walking distance. The breakfast was good and the room was spacious and very clean. It took us less than 15 minutes to get to Syracuse. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed 2 nights to attend the State Fair. Checkin at 2AM was very efficient. The desk clerk even found and delivered a refrigerator to our room after my husband requested one. The room was a nice size with 2 queen beds a desk and chair and an easy chair with otterman. There were 5 pillows on each bed. The only negative was thin towels that really didn't absorb. Housekeeping provided plenty of extras so this really wasn't a problem. There is a good size indoor pool and hot tub. Free wireless internet is provided. The breakfast buffet is standard Fairfield- make your own waffles, breakfast sandwiches and expanded continental. The hostess quickly replaced items and left it open past closing because it was still pretty crowded- A nice touch!
There are several restaurants, a 24 hour supermarket and plenty of shopping all near the hotel.

The rooms were okay, not great. There were marks on the walls and the room was stuffy. The AC was awful, it wouldn't stay on even if it was set on auto. All night I had to keep getting up to make it come on. The pool wasn't clean, and the jets didn't work in the hot tub, so the kids were disappointed with that. The worst was the girl at the front desk didn't charge the right card after we specifically told her to change it upon arrival. She said she swiped it, never did. Caused many problems for us at the bank. Also, the pool never had towels, and in the morning I needed an extra towel so I went to housekeeping who said "we don't have any right now at all".
