All my friends rave about this restaurant/butcher. I do not eat red meat or pork, so I never really considered dining here. BIG mistake! The ultra-limited menu includes two main items: HUGE (as in over 2' long X1.5' wide), brick oven, thin-crusted pizza, and likewise huge salad. The salad and pizza easily filled us up (5 of us). The salad has fresh everything in it: mushrooms, roasted red peppers, olives, grape tomatoes, large and freshly-made mozzarella stuffed with a mini-tomato, mesclun and other greens, artichoke hearts, and more. Drizzled with the prefect amount of balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The pizza, slightly charred at the edges, has fresh tomatoes tucked beneath mildly-flavored fresh mozzarella and adorned with lots and lots of vegetables. This is a BYOB establishment, with an incredibly friendly staff that kisses you hello, calls you beautiful when you walk in (we ate outside), and plies you with cappucino and terrific, fresh Italian cookies (gratis) to end your meal on a sweet note.
