When a restaurant dining room sounds like Yankee Stadium with a game against the Red Sox (Yankees are not winning), then you have some idea of what your evening meal will yield. The menu is a little confusing and the waiter, trying to talk to us against the nose, was little help. All at our table thought the meal included the vegetable of the day AND pasta or potato of the day. We asked and thought we had it right only to be told by the manager ( of 15 years) that we were all wrong ... paste, potato or vegetable was REALLY what we were supposed to see on the menu.. A collective mistake? Our veal parm arrived ... some ok and others very over cooked. For some reason the waiter did not offer us Parmesan Cheese until we were able to flag him down well into the meal. This was not the worst restaurant we've eaten at in our travels , but it ranks in the top ten. If you want noise, indifferent service and over cooked pricey meals then Vilaggio in Long Beach is just right for you.
