This is not a place where hardy dinners are served. We were seduced by the Trip Adviser's rating as the top place to eat in town. It is a modest interior, background rock music, pleasant atmosphere, smallish place. Service was prompt & efficient. Menu a one pager also view-able on line. I had the fish, Monk & Cod (could have counted as 2 separate entree, but portions were pitifully small). My wife had pork belly. Everything, including the warm fresh bread was delicious and well prepared. food for those 3 portions plus deserts (liked the Napoleon) were over $64. Recommended for food tasting. We were the first to come at 5:30 on Sat eve. Place got packed in 30 minutes.

Supposedly the new hip place in Long Beach...wait staff is excellent and we had a reservation way in advance.
The servings are plate sized and perfect for sharing for two people. We really liked the Bibb lettuce salad and gnocchi.
Acoustics are tricky and the space is small. We had a table of very loud, abrasive people next to us so that put a damper on the night.

Long wait for reservations (don't show up without on a Saturday night) are worth it as this intimate idiosyncratic spot distinguishes itself from typical south shore restaurants. An eclectic offering of small plates suitable for sharing with groups are creatively prepared. The vibe is somewhat noisy, and our table near the kitchen was a bit smoky, but that did not detract from the fact that they know what they are doing here. No credit cards and parking is a challenge around here, even in winter, but this place offers a memorable meal in a relaxed atmosphere. I regret we had plans for desert elsewhere so we're unable to sample what looked like delicious deserts.

This restaurant serves tapas-style mini plates to share with your friends. Super delicious... get the potatoes as an appetizer... YUM!!! The service is quick and about 6 dishes are good for a light meal for a group of 4 people. You need a reservation during the summer months!

This very popular restaurant has not impressed me nor other family members in the last
2 visits. I find the menu rather limited for my tastes and the plates (more of a "tapas" size) of food ordered were not special.
