“Elegant and beautiful lodge less than 2 hours from New York City”

Get away to a charming country lodge. Spectacular property with tons of activities; fish, shoot, hike, train your dog or just relax. The Guarino's are wonderful, warm hosts and the food, featuring local ingredients, was first rate. Each guest room is beautifully and uniquely furnished and reminds one of a stay in a fine English country estate. The location is ideal for visits to local Hudson Valley wineries and distilleries. Also a great and different spot for a corporate retreat. Can not wait to return!

In searching for wedding venues, my husband and I were looking for something unique and non-traditional. We were hoping to celebrate our long courtship with close family and friends in a warm and relaxed atmosphere and this is exactly what we found at St. Hubert's Lodge (Guarino Farms).
Both growing up in the Hudson Valley, we are aware of most that this area has to offer. This property is so private and newly renovated, however, that we had no idea what we were looking for was right in our own hometown! The buildings and grounds are absolutely gorgeous and the layout was perfect for the style wedding we were looking for. All rooms were highly adaptable, whether we were hosting the rehearsal dinner, brunch or wedding ceremony. In addition to the building itself being adjustable, owners Kathy and Alan were amazing to work with. They were extremely welcoming and accommodating and allowed us to move in for the 3 days and feel at home.
Between bedrooms in the Lodge and Rose Cottage, there was ample space for all immediate family members to stay over and the bathrooms attached to each were so spacious and detailed that we definitely felt as though we were living in the lap of luxury! It was a perfect destination wedding right in our own backyard!
Thank you Kathy and Alan for helping to make our wedding day so special!

I attended a corporate outing at the lodge. As an executive in the hospitality industry I can tell you that this is a unique property for an business retreat (offsite and inspiring for strategic planning and team-building activities). The entire 160 acres is available exclusively for your event. My understanding is that only small groups of less than 20 are accepted for corporate outings. From the customized menu, to the private chef that was contracted specifically for the event, to the team building/ice breaking activities – everything was delivered at the highest level of quality. The owner/proprietors (Kathy and Alan) are warm and welcoming, to a great extent you feel as thou you are visiting and staying at a friends getaway.

Since the lodge caters almost exclusively to Fortune 100 executives and the celebrity crowd that value privacy, this is a truly unique and special place. it took me about 1.5 hours from NYC. It's so exclusive, the website didn't even post a phone number back when I visited.

I highly recommend this venue.

Elegant but comfortable. There were loads of activities to choose from, delicious food and drink, and all the warmth of a family vacation with none of the angst! Whether you want to explore the farm to table movement, train your dog, hunt or fish, or just escape from the stresses of the city (it's only a short ride away), this is the place to go.

I was lucky enough to be invited to stay as a guest at Saint Hubert's through an introduction to the owner, Alan Guarino, from a colleague. I was looking for a lodge-style retreat to spend a long weekend with my father and catch-up after a particularly busy year. Major checklist items in particular were: a place relatively off the beaten path where we could enjoy a challenging and attractive sporting clay course by day; hearty country food, cigars and bourbon by night.

To cut to the crux; my father and I both couldn't have walked away more impressed by the service, relaxation and overall kindness we experienced while at the lodge. Alan and his wife, Kathy, were first class hosts and to say they went above and beyond our expectations would be a huge understatement. Whether it was the private outdoor breakfast they cooked for us deep in the property at the barbeque area or the time they spent with us over cocktails in the late afternoon, they are totally committed to top-shelf friendly service and it shows.

With regard to the lodge itself; the best way I can describe it is a perfect combination of a Rocky Mountains style big game ranch and a New England luxury cabin sophisticated hearth style resort. We literally didn't have enough time over the weekend to kick back and relax in all the spots there are to enjoy on the property. We woke up intentionally early (which was tough as the beds and sleep quality were diamond...my father and I are both 6'5"+ big guys so to get good sleep anywhere but our own beds is rare) just to absorb as much of the atmosphere as we could over the couple days we were there.

I'll absolutely look to come back to the lodge at some point.

Room Tip: We stayed in the hunting lodge rooms which we found to be private and luxurious.
