Food was excellent, service was excellent. I didn't know this place existed until a family member suggested we eat there. Decent prices and they are willing to change a menu item up for you if you want it made a little differently. Even the kids like it!

Been here many times. Never disappointed. Good family restaurant on one side with nice bar on the other. I usually like to sit and eat at the bar while watching sports on the numerous tv screens. Bar service and wait staff fast, courteous, and knowledgeable of drinks and food selections. Large food selections from appetizers to seafood and steaks. Burgers and paninis are great too. Also have a kids menu.

We have always enjoyed this place in the past, so we decided to treat our neighbors to dinner. It has been a while since we have been her, and the first thing I noticed is the prices have gotten a bit higher.

The four of us shared two appetizers which were commercial, run of the mill mozzarella sticks and a greasy blooming onion. Nothing special yet. The wings were on special for a good price, but we wanted a meal. They had walleye on their special board, so we all ordered it fried. It came with an average salad and a generous portion of fish that had a nice golden coating on it. I was disappointed with the taste. It was a bit over done, and if it was fresh caught walleye, well it did not taste like it. Potatoes and everything else were just average.

The cost for the fish dinner was nearly $19, so I was expecting a bit better in the taste and preperation department. Two beers, two glasses of wine, two appetizers and four dinners plus tip came to nearly $150. Maybe I am expecting too much, and maybe I am out of touch price wise, but it just seemed more expensive than in the past.

I don't know if they have happy hour, and I don't know their drink prices, but this place looks like a good "watering hole." When I saw all the cars parked outside I thought we would have trouble getting a seat, but the bar had three people sitting at it, and probably they had about five tables occupied during the course of our visit. It appears that the two other close by "watering holes" had the business. This was a week night, so maybe they are busier at other times.

I think they still have different specials each day of the week, so I guess if you are close by that would be worth trying. The wings that night looked real good.

I doubt I will be back again.

The food is good here don't get me wrong, but sometimes it's just bland. I found that to some degree in almost all the restaurants I've tried in town. They just don't season the food, i.e. salt and pepper. Strange. The wings are good, as is most of the food I've tried here. But is you get a burger and fries, no salt on the fries. I know a lot of places don't do that due to people with high blood pressure etc. But have you ever tried to get salt to stick to fries that didn't just come out of the fryer, impossible. But I still go about twice a month as the other offerings make up for the little inconveniences.
