Stayed here Thanksgving night to cut down long drive to New York City from upstate New York. The place is about 75 minutes from Central Park in Manhattan Hotel is an older hotel with a lot more rooms than you would expect. The layout for getting in and out of the place is strange; you have to go past the Perkins restaurant to even see the entrance which is hidden from the road.
The hotel itself is laid out in kind of an "H" pattern and with no signage to tell you where reception is, it is easy to get lost. For a quick, one night trip where the object was a good night's sleep, it worked out. The rooms are a little bit bigger than usual, the mattress was firm and the heat was fine. Only complaint was that the drain was partly plugged and needed Drano.
The place is close to the Walmart as well as the entrance to Route 17/86 so it is well located. And there seem to be a lot of restaurants around, so there are enough choices. Thought I saw a Buffalo Wild Wings in the same plaza area as the hotel.More
