“Perfect retreat from the City!”

My husband and I came up to Millbrook from NYC for a visit to Orvis and to check out the town. We had the absolute best time and can't wait for our next visit. Don is the perfect weekend host at the beautiful Millbrook Inn. We were welcomed with fresh peonies in our cozy room that was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Don has done a great job with all the finishing around the house and is a fantastic cook to boot! I have several dietary restricts and he was more than accommodating to my needs. He provided great recommendations for what to see and also seems to know mostly everyone in town. The Inn was a quick drive (5 minutes) into town and just an additional 5 to Orvis. Can't recommend enough!

We spent a lovely weekend at the Millbrook Inn while we were doing the Orvis Fly Fishing School. My only regret is that we spent so much time away from the Inn. Don, the manager, has seen to every detail. The common rooms and guest rooms are beautiful with gorgeous fresh flowers everywhere. There are wonderful books in the room, nice linens, great photos and other art work and comfortable beds. The living room on the first floor is lovely and we were invited to join Don for mint juleps and the Kentucky Derby, which was very nice. Don, a former restarauteur, gave good recommendations for restaurants and presented us with beautiful breakfasts both mornings we were there. Don is also very knowledgeable about the area and can give good ideas of things to do and see. The area is very pretty and well worth spending a weekend exploring. We would not have ended up in a nicer spot!

Room Tip: Some rooms have king beds and others have queens.

Beautiful decorated rooms. Comfortable beds. Nicely appointed baths. Good wifi. Don who does everything is a great host and gave perfect recommendations on restaurants in the area. The breakfast was perfect: farm fresh eggs, maple wood bacon,
Excellent coffee. I hope to get back soon.

We spent two nights at the Millbrook Inn, and it was incredibly difficult to come back home! Don has put such heart and soul into every detail of the place and the experience he offers his guests -- from the decor and furnishings, to the music and flowers, and the top-notch breakfast he serves. Don is congenial and accommodating -- he knows the area well and will offer (excellent) advice on where to visit, shop, and eat - if you want it. He has had a career in upscale restaurant management, and his expertise really shows through the experience he offers. There is nothing about our weekend that could have been better and we will definitely be back.

My wife and I stayed at The Millbrook Inn for one night as I was on a business trip. For the first time ever, I wish the trip was more than one night. This B&B is stunningly beautiful, cozy, and welcoming. Don is a terrific host and can make a wonderful breakfast as well. Stop looking around at other Inn's, you are just wasting your time. Do yourself a favor and spend your time here.

Room Tip: You can't go wrong with room selection here.

The Millbrook Inn is a fantastic place to stay. Our room was immaculate, extremely comfortable with all modern conveniences and beautifully decorated. The fresh flowers in our room was a nice touch. Overall the Inn was very comfortable and we looking forward to returning with a group of friends. Don was very accommodating to our requests and made sure everything was just perfect! His breakfast was wonderful. The only disappointment we had........we could not stay longer.

My husband and I stayed at The Millbrook Inn for the first time this weekend, but we are sure it won't be our last! The inn is gorgeous and Don is a wonderful host. The selection of decor and books were wonderful and every detail, down to the beautiful flowers in our room were flawless. The breakfast was wonderful, both in taste and presentation. I would advise anyone going to the Millbrook area to not hesitate and stay at The Millbrook Inn, you will be glad you did!
