We are in Montauk a lot and had never seen this restaurant before. It turns out that they have expanded it from a smaller, bar-type restaurant. It is where Lenny's used to be. Anyway, it is pre-season so we weren't sure what we would get. They say that they serve smaller appetizer-sized portions, so we ordered several things. Though the portions were not as small as they seemed to think, we did eat every bite of five things between the two of us. We had chowder, BLT wedge, calamari, mussels and skirt steak. Everything was really, really good. Between the chowder and BLT wedge course, though, we had to wait a very long time and we were looking around, asking for our food, etc. The flavors did not disappoint, but the service made it too long of a dinner. Maybe when the season starts, they will not have so much lag time between courses????
The staff was very nice, friendly and upbeat. Not sure why the delay.... I would recommend it though because the food was really good.
