We had heard the portion sizes were big enough to share. The food was delicious and I will almost certainly return. The only thing I didnt like was eating on high stools (almost like bar stools) and a high small circular table. However I cant complain as we walked in without a reservation on a busy evening

Our group of 6 came here for dinner and we were so pleased. We had reservations for inside, but instead sat outside (first come, first served). We arrived shortly after they opened at 5:15, so we didn't have trouble getting a table.

The food was excellent - we split several appetizers, a salad, 2 entrees, and a dessert. Everything was great. We saw the ice cream sandwich as we were leaving, I'd try that next time! Perfect amount of food and priced right. A nice dinner right on the water - can't beat it!

I ate at Harvest last night and it was mostly substandard. The negatives: noisy, the calamari tasted like they were cooked an hour before and kept too long under a heat lamp, soggy and not tasteful. The fish stew was decidedly over cooked, the many mussels were dessicated, the scallops were very firm and tasteless, the broth for dipping was salty but okay. The grilled chicken was again overcooked and the predominant taste was salt

Two dishes were at least okay. The appetizer with shrimp and beans was very flavorful, although the beans were just a bit gummy. The ice cream and fruit desert was tasty and large. The service was very attentive

All in all I have had worse meals; but this one was far away from top drawer

This is the best restaurant in Montauk. We stayed in town and were able to walk there for dinner. We ate at the bar, which was a lot of fun and then we walked down along the pier over the lake. The food is delicious and the quantity is very large. We shared one pasta dish (no appetizers) and had enough to save for lunch for both of us the next day. We had espresso martinis for dessert and they were the best we ever had. The rim was coated with lemon and sugar and that made all the difference. We liked them so much that we came back again the next night after dinner somewhere else just to have the martinis again!

service is okay, the place is mobbed on the weekends. make sure you make reservations far in advance. or better yet, go to one of the quaint little restaurants in town
