“Casual Yet Sophisticated, Warm Hospitality, Great Food”
Reviewed 28 April 2014 via mobile

A lovely relaxing meal here after a busy family reunion weekend. Warm and comfortable atmosphere...Although a quiet Sunday night, we were shown great hospitality by Joe, the owner, and gracious staff. The food was delicious, ingredients locally sourced and beautifully prepared. Thanks so much, and we'll be back!

“Very nice Italian food”
Reviewed 25 March 2014

Heard some good comments about this place and decided to try it our during restaurant week. It was a good choice because the regular menu can be a little pricey.. There is a very lively bar scene owing to $5 drinks and appetizers. The bar is in the front part of the restaurant. You go through some drapery and find yourself in a very nice dining room. Soothing colors , fabric on the walls to absorb some of the noise. We got there fairly early and were seated promptly. We ordered from the the restaurant week menu. Combined we had the eggplant stack and the Prosciutto-Fig flatbread. The flatbread was superb.Sweet fig, salty meat, smooth cheese---great combination.I had the cheese filled pasta sachetti in a light tomato sauce. Excellent. Others had the Pork osso buco and the chicken marsala. They were both very happy.Dessert was odd. It was a nutella brownie with ice cream. At first the brownie seemed dry, but the more you ate it the better it got. It had some kind of peanut butter sauce , which seemed odd but it sort of pulled the whole thing together.I really enjoyed the food. The one issue I had was that the happy hour music was a little too loud and not suitable for dinner. The other issue is the regular prices are a little high. Those are the only things that kept them from getting a 5 dot rating. Other than that, I really liked this place and do recommend it.

“Restaurant week great pick!”
Reviewed 22 March 2014

We tried this restaurant for the first time, during restaurant week. Great choice. I had the flatbread, chicken and Nutella brownie. My husband had the eggplant stack, pork and cheesecake. All were exceptional and more than well portioned! A pleasant surprise, as we had heard mixed reviews. We will be returning. Staff was pleasant and enthusiastic. Overall great evening.

“Enjoyed the meal”
Reviewed 8 December 2013 via mobile

Four of us went on a Saturday night.
Nice ambiance, nice decor, and the restaurant was pretty full.
Loved the faux fireplaces and the cushioned walls.
Service was friendly and attentive.
Recommend the eggplant stack, swordfish and the house burger.
