Great offerings of craft beers, great pub food (unique choices), staff is knowledgable. If it's super busy table service can be so so, Wednesday is busy it's trivia nite but it's fun. My friends & I are regulars - great place to hang with friends! Totally unpretentious atmosphere. Love it!

At the risk of sounding repetitive, this is a great little craft beer joint. They have 16 beers and ciders on tap that rotate. They also have some decent wines for those who don't care for beer. And the beer...the taps run the full range, from light ales to hearty stouts. You are welcome to taste any or all that you'd care to. There is a great selection. You can also purchase a four beer flight. Other reviewers are correct in saying that you're not going to find a sit-down restaurant type menu, but who would expect to? What they do offer (fries, sliders, pretzels, brats and other bar bites,) is excellent. Whatever you do, do not, I repeat, DO NOT try the beer infused brownie served with ice cream! If you do, it's at your own risk. That was one of the most awesome desserts that my wife and I have had in a long time. The service was cheerful. All of the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The Growler also stocks quite a nice selection of craft beers in bottles from around the world, not to mention homebrew stuff. All in all, it's a great place for a great beer and an awesome snack. We'll definitely be going back and taking friends!

Found Growlers on Trip advisor when in town for a meeting. Great beer, great service and the fish and truffle fries were outstanding! Check it out! You'll be glad you did!

When I first looked this up it was put in to the Category German Restaurant
The only thing on the Menu what appeared to be German Food was the Pretzel’s and the Brats with Kraut witch by the way was pretty good.
One of the Owners greeted me upon entry and explained the Pup’s specialties as one of his partners did a complimentary Beer Tasting on the Bar.
Overall a got place to hang out but comes with a high Price Tag.

Rotating taps every week. Great selection of bottled beer from around the country, including local microbrews, gluten free, and organic. Wine is available if you bring friends who are not into beer. You can fill growlers of your favorite tap to take home. Plenty of tables and high tops to drink your way through the taps by the glass too. Best selection of craft beer in Rockland, and all in a great atmosphere.

Their food menu is small- snacks and bites, but they're all tasty. I've come with friends and significant other many times, it's just an all around great place. Came with a large group twice, ordered lots of food & beer... the service was excellent and everyone raved about how the food was just enough to go with the beers. Favorites were the pulled pork sliders, fish & chips and the spinach dip.

Owner and staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Can't say enough. Great crowd too, as they don't get those loud sports fans or college kids coming in looking for cheap beer & wings. Rockland county needed a real craft beer hangout & this is it.
