“Strawberry season is coming!”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

Every year I go pick strawberries from the patches at Dressel farms, which are typically located down Route 208 from the main farm stand. These berries are super sweet and easy to pick, and when you buy them per pound, super cheap. Easy to freeze to have handy throughout the summer. The farm itself can get crowded during the busy apple/pumpkin season, but still a pleasant atmosphere.

“On par with other farms in the area”
Reviewed 25 October 2013

It seems more geared to people with children, which is fine but it's very crowded. And they don't allow dogs so we only stayed a short time because we didn't want to keep them in the car too long.

“Freshness”
Reviewed 15 September 2013

Loved the apples, pears, and fresh nectarines at their farmstand... and taking photos with the Apple's was memorable!

“Pretty views, but stressed and ill mannered personnel.”
Reviewed 4 November 2012

After visiting the farm for years, it was interesting to see a change in the offerings, including a new rude attitude on the part of the proprietor and staff. More for adults, less for children. For example, there is now wine tasting (sweet space, but not great wine), but much smaller petting zoo. Not only intolerant of children, but as a staff member was overheard to say, "Tired of city folks".
No doubt, better choices in New Paltz.
