We arrived after the guided tours were over, so we tried the self-guided tour. The village is beautiful, and I was interested in learning about this persecuted religious minority, but the guide and the plaques just didn't provide enough information. The best exhibit was in the visitor center where the story about the Esopus tribe who sold the land to the Huguenot was told.
