“Beautiful Experience”
Reviewed 6 July 2012

I spent one night at this lovely B&B and if they had room for me it would have been two! Art and Corinne are perfect hosts. Both very down to earth and all about hospitality. The pool was amazing and the property is well cared for. Corinne make a mean spinach omelet and bakes fresh muffins and cookies. The room was very comfortable and it was a lovely experience. I highly recommend a visit! Thanks again Guys!!

The morning we left our hosts Art and Corinne served orange juice, cranberry juice, apple cider, huge bowls of freshly cut fruit, fresh-baked bread, poppy seed muffins, blueberry pancakes with real New York maple syrup, and individual Mexican omelets with sour cream and salsa. If you don't want the brewed coffee, there are dozens of flavors of teas and Keurig coffees. And if you're still hungry, some leftover chocolate chips cookies from the day before. That was a typical everyday breakfast, except that the egg specialties and baked goods change daily. As to our opinions aside from the food, to save time let's just say we concur with what other folks have written. The hosts are planning to sell and retire, so book a room soon.

Room Tip: Try to get the Ivy Room if it is available. It is the biggest and the furthest from the kitchen. The...

but a recent experience at another B&B has reminded me of how wonderful Mountain Meadows is and has prompted me to write.
We have stayed here three times, and I have to say I do not remember exact dates (but am recording May 2011, which looks to be as far back as I can go on this site. The last time we called, Mountain Meadows was fully booked.). Each stay has been spectacular, and we have felt welcome and soothed immediately on driving through the gate.
Art and Corinne are warm, interesting, and utterly hospitable hosts. We have enjoyed talking with them, and they are both very knowledgeable about the area, as well as about many other things.
We have stayed in three different rooms, and one of our visits included my 80-something mother and my younger brothers. Accommodations in all cases were perfect in all respects.
The rooms are large and bright and inviting.
On a summer visit, we spent some time in the beautiful pool, Art and Corinne having kindly offered to let our adult children (living nearby) enjoy the pool with us. On a fall visit, we spent more time in the common room, which is there for the guests' enjoyment: games and many magazines in a comfortable space with a sliding door to the patio.
The patio is wonderful: breakfast on the patio is an experience in itself. The interesting people, the view, the yard, and the breakfast....Which is the best part? It is all wonderful. Art and Corinne make the kind of breakfast you might hope for on a first-class cruise, with egg dishes and baked goods, and much piping hot coffee. And the table is beautifully set, with attention and whimsy in every detail. Breakfast in the kitchen, more intimate, is equally lovely.
A place to feel pampered, soothed, energized, and refreshed.

Room Tip: We have stayed in several, and they were all great.

What a find this little place is!! The B & B is well maintained, clean, comfortable, you feel right at home the minute you step in the door. Art & Corinne are by far the friendliest owners we have ever met. We have stayed in quite a few B & B's over the years, this is by far our favorite. The rates are very reasonable for the amenities provided. Breakfast is delicious and Art & Corinne will feed you until you pop if you let them! And just in case the huge breakfast of muffins, pancakes, waffles, home made bread, baked eggs, baked apples, etc. wears off and you get munchie, they pack some muffins for you to take with you on your day's travels. The guest kitchen is fully and I mean fully stocked with all types of beverages, wine, a Keurig, teas, snacks, anything you could want. Cheese and crackers is served in the afternoon. I have never been to a B & B that offers this much in the way of food and drink. You truly feel at home, Art & Corinne are always around asking if you need anything, it's like staying with friends.

There is a pool, we went off season but it looked very nice. The hot tub was a welcome treat on a cold winter's night! Beds were comfy, food was great, Art & Corinne were wonderful. I cannot recommend Mountain Meadows enough, you will not be sorry!

Room Tip: All rooms looked very nice, we stayed in the Meadow room, the only room without an attached bath, bu...

We just came back from a Girls' Weekend @ Mountain Meadows and loved it. The location is great (few miles from Mohonk Mt and the town of New Paltz). Art and Corinne were wonderful hosts. The homemade breakfasts were incredible, along with the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies (I think I gained 5 lbs, the food was so good). The rooms were neat and comfortable. We felt right at home relaxing in front of the nightly fire with a glass of wine and nibbling on cheese and crackers. The hot tub was so relaxing after hiking/shopping all day. Art and Corinne know the area well and not only provided great recommendations for restaurants and activities, but also had all the maps and information we needed. When we left we all hugged our hosts because it felt like we had stayed with friends. Now I just have to figure out who can watch the kids so I can bring my husband..he would love it!

When we need to get away from our own B & B, be quiet and refreshed, we come to Mt Meadows. Art & Corinne's gracious warmth, generous hospitality & exceptional cleanliness are very hard to come by. The breakfasts are incomparable, the beds very comfortable, and the living area cozy. Thank you Art & Corinne for the MANY ways you come alongside us, including reviews and recommendations for hiking & dining. We hope to be back real soon again. (the negative review on Trip Adv was ridiculous & unfounded. It is obvious Art & Corinne go to great lengths to maintain & upgrade their home & surrounding property)

Room Tip: Any room you stay in will be more than satisfactory

What a great comfortable place to stay. Corinne and Art make you feel right at home in their B&B and the surrounding area. Loved the great breakfast and had the best night sleep in my comfortable room. I will most certainly be back. You can't beat the location and the guest living room with a wonderful fireplace was just the ticket for relaxing after a long day of hiking in the mountains.
