“Great Place, Great Hosts”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 July 2014

We had a great time staying at MM B&B. Corinne and Art are wonderful hosts. They made us feel at home from the moment they meet us at the door. Cooking is amazing. Great view from the back yard. Plenty of wild life. Overall 5 stars!

We have been going to Mountain Meadows every year for a week since summer 1994. We have never been disappointed. Art and Corinne are fabulous hosts, whose pleasure it is to produce happy guests. The grounds are beautiful, nicely landscaped with flowers and bushes, with a nice pool and sunning deck, hot tub, and a great patio area which also serves as a dining area for breakfast (weather permitting). Best -- a wonderful view of the mountain, and deer, birds and other nature right on the property. You could not find better hosts anywhere - they are friendly, helpful, and Corinne is a great cook!

We are two (coupled) women who come to rock climb each year and have TONS of gear and clothes we bring into our room. We are neat and orderly, but in other places we might get a strange look regardless. Art and Corinne are always welcoming and happy to see us, and we are now all like family. Many other guests are repeat customers whom we have gotten to know, and whose company we enjoy when we see them each year. We have brought friends there who have also enjoyed the B&B and the surrounding area immensely.

I would wager their (free) breakfast is the best anywhere in the area (restaurants included). Every day - fresh fruit, home cooked bread, eggs of some sort and /or waffles/pancakes/french toast, home cooked muffins, cereal, juices, etc. After breakfast I don't need to eat until dinner!

In the afternoon or early evening, when you arrive back form you days activities, you are served your own complimentary platter of cheese and and crackers or other appetizer, as well as wine. Typically, there are also some fresh baked cookies in the kitchen area, as well as other snacks.

Although from the outside it does not look like the classic B&B, the rooms are a good size, well decorated, and immaculate. All rooms have a private bathroom and for all but one, the bath is attached to the room. Several rooms and the kitchen have been updated over time (new rugs, tile, fixtures, etc.) There is also a Great room with a tremendous fireplace, a large TV, pool table, plenty of sitting room, and lots of reading material.

This B&B is a fabulous place to stay, and a great value as well. It is small (4 rooms) so reserving well in advance is recommended. In 20 years, we have never even looked anywhere else because our stays there have always been wonderful.

Room Tip: If you want a really large room, select the Ivy room. If you want an attached bath, do not reserve t...

My best friend surprised me with a trip upstate for our 40th birthdays. I thought we might be bored because it was freezing out and not a good time to hike in the Catskills. But once we arrived at Corrine & Art's, who wanted to leave anyway? They are so natural about hosting people in their home. We felt so welcome and free to enjoy the many perks of the place. They really have the little details down - from the moment you arrive Art helps you park and takes your bags. Corrine gets you settled in your room and then brings out a tray of cheese and crackers. There are many books, games, area maps etc., an abundance of snacks, treats, hot drinks, sodas, wine juices, and touches of a home away from home created by these two lovely people. Art had great restaurant and activity suggestions, and we came back from dinner to a roaring fireplace and a carafe of wine waiting in the kitchen. The bedrooms are comfy and spoiling. It was very icy and snowy while we were there so the swimming pool was frozen and we did not venture out to the hot tub, but we thoroughly enjoyed the breathtaking views of the Mohonk reserve and the giant meadow in front of the house, which attracts deer and exotic birds. And breakfast, well - let's just say we are still full, and it's been almost a week. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights @ the Mountain Meadow B&B and it couldn't have been better. Corrine and Art have mastered the art of truly making you feel at home. Amazing breakfast, spacious accommodations and a perfect location. Easy access to Mohonk, Minnewaska State Park & College Town. It's only been a couple of weeks since our stay and we can't wait to go back!

My wife and I recently returned from two very enjoyable days at Mountain Meadows Bed and Breakfast. Our hosts Art and Corrine made us feel at home right away with full access to a well-stocked guest kitchen, hot tub, and heated pool, as well as wine and cheese on the patio in the late afternoon. The location is terrific and the grounds are spectacular with views of mountains, meadows and an occasional deer or turkey that wanders into the yard.

Art was very cordial and helpful; answering questions about events and activities in the area and providing maps and directions. Corrine made a world-class breakfast each morning, probably the best we’ve had at a B&B. Wish we could have stayed another day or two, but we will be retuning in the future.

Room Tip: The only room with a TV is the upstairs room. Not a big deal for us my many travelers require a TV...

We loved our visit. The room (Ivy Room) was spacious, comfortable and sparkling clean. We enjoyed the pool (too hot for the hot tub but that looked great too) and pool table in the guest lounge. The fully equipped guest kitchen is great - you can use the fridge and there are always hot and cold drinks and snacks. Corrine is an amazing cook - breakfast in the lovely backyard was spectacular and she packed us off with leftover baked goods for a snack. Delicious eggs, pancakes or waffles, homemade bread and muffins, fresh fruit. Art and Corrine are friendly and knowledgeable about the area and Art always gave us perfect hiking tips and great directions to whatever type of experience we wanted to have. We will definitely go back.

I was in New Paltz for a combination business and pleasure trip. My eleven year old daughter and I stayed at Mountain Manor and were delighted. The rooms were lovely- somewhat dated but cozy, warm and super clean. There was an activity room, pool and breakfasts that could not be beat. The guest kitchen was wonderful- stocked with fresh baked cookies, a refrigerator with wine, soda and water- coffee etc.

The hosts Art and Corrine were outgoing and friendly taking time to get to know us and vice versa. They made us feel welcome, were interesting and truly care about their guests.

It was so much better than a cold hotel. It was priced well, the grounds are beautiful and I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Room Tip: One room has a detached bath- its private for that one room and wouldn't be a big deal to me to...
