We were on our way to Boston, MA from Long Island, NY. We had seen the sign for the "On the Waterfront" restaurant but missed the entrance and had to turn around.
Parking is on a large parking deck adjacent to the restaurant. Upon entering the restaurant, we asked to be seated on the deck which overlooks the adjacent marina. It was the servers first day on the job which resulted in a little slower than satisfactory service. The menu was primarily fried seafood. There were four of us in our party. Two of us had a combination (fish, clams, & shrimp) basket, my wife fried clams, all of which came with fries, my sister a lobster roll which came with Cole slaw (recommended by our server). We also shared an order of calamari. The fish and calamari were cooked perfectly, the clams and shrimp were over cooked but not to the point of returning them. My sister said that the lobster roll was outstanding.
All in all an enjoyable, but not remarkable lunch.
