This sunny play spot is a nice place to take the kids. But it's not free. You either have to pay for a sticker which lasts a year or pay per visit. The attendants who work in the booth are generally older men who tend to be on the grumpier side. Be prepared for that - it's not you, it's them. Bless their hearts.
The playground is nice and well kept but there is very little of it that is shaded. So that means hot, direct sun on hot sweaty kids. So bring the sunscreen and cold water!
The facilities include covered picnic areas / pavilions, bathrooms, a skate rink, lake with fishing and paddle boats, trails, etc.
