“probably last stay at this hotel casino”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 February 2014

to start with there is nothing wrong with the standard room. we arrived early and they had a room ready on the 25th floor facing the falls. very nice. the room was clean as always, but not enough towels left for two showers. bed was comfortable. we had reservations at the western door and they have been advertising specials for their three most popular restaurants, but of course when we asked about the special it was no longer available. we stayed anyway and as usual the food was excellent. now for the sad part. we decided that if we came home losers this time that we would not be coming back to this casino, and of course, like usual we lost. it didn't matter what we played, pennies up to five dollar slots, nothing. we have been coming to this casino since it opened, but we have had it. we didn't think we would go home millionares, but we are certainly sick of always losing and we have had enough of that. goodbye to Seneca casino. also what people say is true, the hallways on the nonsmoking floors do smell like cigarette smoke. the rooms are ok though, no smell.

Room Tip: rooms on the higher floors and facing the falls.

I stayed here for only one night last weekend on Saturday with two other close buddies of mine. We come to Seneca Casino quite often throughout the year from Toronto to play the slots and tables but this was our first time staying at the hotel. From the perspective of three young guys we were really impressed with the layout of our room and the amazing view. We ended up getting place on the 25th floor facing the falls which was great! I can only imagine what the view looks like in the summer or spring.

Overall there is nothing to complain about. We parked for free in the parking garage (try doing that in Fallsview on the Canadian side), enjoyed the pool area and jacuzzi (they provide free towels) and the drinks were well priced on the games floor. We didn’t end up eating at any of the restaurants so I can’t provide any feedback about that unfortunately…

Either way if you can get this hotel for a good price (around $170 before taxes) you’ve scored big in my opinion. Definitely give this place a shot if you’re in the area, it’s a pinnacle point of where a lot of locals flock to for fun in the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area.

Room Tip: Try to aim for a room facing the falls, preferably one on a floor where there is also no smoking.

Stayed here with a couple of friends recently and gotta say that it was a great experience! I have a bad back, and even though the room itself wasn't accessible (wasn't requested when reservation was made), the staff had a bath chair for me to use, which was a good thing. The room was clean, staff were friendly, buffet was nice and I even won some money playing blackjack!

Would stay here again....

Had to stay overnight for business. I was nervous when I entered the lobby only because it's very smoky as smoking is not outlawed there. However, the rooms are newly remodeled and gorgeous. The one complaint I had was that I wish I knew there were additional restaurants inside the casino as I ate a couple times at a cafe in the lobby that wasn't that great.

Room Tip: Make sure to look inside the casino, even if you're not gambling, for better restaurant choices.

We stayed at Seneca Niagara for two nights on 1/19 & 1/20/14. Check in was prompt and courteous. We asked for and received a room on a high floor facing the falls. We were on the 21 st floor and had a great view. The room was clean and well prepared. The bed was comfortable however my wife noted the sheets were cheap and felt rough. Although we were on a non smoking floor the hallway smelled like a dirty ashtray. The buffet was good with a fairly large cuisine selection and reasonably priced at $15/pp. Now the casino. The website noted the new 6 million dollar air purification system. We have been here numerous times in the past and the cigarette smoke is just as bad. The drink service was very poor as were the drinks. They seem to have been watered down and every mixer I had was flat. In addition some of our drinks had no ice at all. The casino rehab project is not as complete as their website leads you to believe. About 25% is still under construction. Construction workers on the casino floor and saws and drills buzzing in the background were an annoyance. The slots were so tight it was obvious how they were paying for the 26 million dollar rehab project. Other players could be heard complaining about how awful the slot payouts were. Putting 20 after 20 into the machines and getting no hits or enjoyment gets old fast. Native american casinos have the worst payback percentage (to the player) because they are not governed by any regulatory gaming commision/authority and this place is no exception. We went to Fallsview casino on the Canadian side and although we ddnt win anything we got frequent hits and actually enjoyed playing in a smoke free upscale environment. We even saw a lady win $25,000! The moral is stay but dont play at Seneca Niagara. Take your bankroll to Fallsview . . . you'll be glad you did.

We planned a two night stay at this casino and resort for a girls weekend - spent one night, checked out and hightailed it back to the Canadian side and found another place to stay. This place was awful.
Everything under construction, not easy to find our way around (valet was unhelpful), walked in to check in and could hardly see front desk for the blue smoke haze (I know smoking laws are different in NY but it was insane).
Hotel room was so-so but nothing to go on about.
Casino was run down (hence renos I guess) and if there was a waitress on the floor we didn't see her the entire 6 hours we were gambling.
I felt sorry for the singer on top of the centre bar - she looked like she could hardly breathe for smoke.
Never to return.

The Hotel was very clean and the help is very willing to accommodating your every need. Also, took Niagara Falls Tour from Sheraton, great value. The only negative that I would have is that if you are a Non-smoker. Smoking is allowed throughout the complex.
