Enjoyed our stay in this comfort inn. Location is excellent if you just want to walk to the maid of the mist boat ride. Trolley can be taken to visit all other locations from there including the cave of the winds for 2 dollars a day. Plenty of dining options nearby the hotel. We did not have to take the car out from the hotel parking area. Parking and breakfast were free which is great. Breakfast is consistent with what you can expect from comfort inn or for the star rating.

Room Tip: Use choice hotels dot com for booking and make use of points or discounted prices with advanced purc...

Stayed from Friday, June 27th to Sunday, June 29th, 2014. Have stayed there before but seems to be a bit more rundown. the walls are very thin and both our room and our friends room could hear everything from the room next to us. We had parties and they had a family with three little girls who spent a lot of the time hitting the walls and jumping off the beds. Along with screaming. Ours lasted till after midnight, Theirs lasted till 10 PM. Not sure we will stay there again at this point. Will pay a bit more for a more modern and quieter hotel.
We use our Choice card to get the points but the hotels seem to be getting worse at each stay. After reading the other reviews maybe get a room on a higher floor next time !!
The pluses... we like to stay on the American side and walk everywhere !!

Room Tip: Don't stay on the first 3 floors...get higher !!! That might help with all the kids and familie...

Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience you experienced as a result of the children in the room next to yours. We are glad that you were pleased with the location and found that you were able to walk everywhere. I do hope that you will come back again, as I think you would be most pleased with the newly renovated guest rooms on the upper floors. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. If you would like to discuss further, please feel free to contact me directly at tmezhir@comfortinnthepointe.com or 800-284-6835.

Location of hotel is excellent within walking distance to the falls. Breakfast was adequate with scramble eggs, yoghurt, etc. The hotel is actually close to Hardrock cafe where you can grab a bite after a walk in the park. We overheard the hotel was close to full but it certainly doesn't seems so. Will return.

If your aim is to visit the Niagara Falls and get the basic but comfy accommodation, this one is highly recommended. The hotel is just few steps away from the Niagara Falls Park (US side) and souvenir shops. Hot breakfast is also good.

I don't know why this hotel doesn't get a better rating. We stayed June 23- 25. You can NOT beat the location (right across the street from most NY Falls attractions and only blocks to the Rainbow bridge) of this hotel. We were in room 609 and it was great. The beds were terrific/comfy and the bathroom was SPOTLESS. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. The breakfast (eggs, sausages, fruit, and make-your-own waffles) was very good too. The entire breakfast room staff was attentive and kept every food 's stock plentiful. Special kudos to front desk reception gals Sarah and Laura. PS/ TIP for Transportation: We flew in/out of Buffalo airport. Instead of paying $70 for a taxi, ask the hotel about the $24/pp ride using the airport shuttle taxis - the pickup is at the NF Visitors Center, up the street from this hotel at 10 Rainbow Blvd.

Room Tip: We stayed in 609 - 2 queen beds. Quiet room and view of Canadian (building) lights at night. I am p...

A big hotel right across from the State park. A hop skip and a jump from the Falls. Great hot breakfast. Besides the usual waffle mix they had a cinnamon version. The free wifi could be slow with the number of guests they had while there. Many of the rooms have been refurbed. Quiet building for the number of guests.

This would be the worst hotel experience we had during our trip last September 2013, arrived in the hotel at around 2 am from Chicago, it was a long drive and I thought we're gonna get a good rest that night. Upon check in their customer service representative didn't say anything that we are going to be in a smoking room, she saw that I have my kids with me and it's a common sense that you can't have kids in a smoking room. After we learned that we are in the smoking room, I went back to her and asked why she put us in that room when I reserved a non-smoking, she asked me back "Did you call to confirm?" I said No, do I have to? and she said YES!! You gotta be kidding me.
Good thing we only stayed in that hotel for 1 1/2 night and i would definitely not going to book my future travels with this hotel. The only thing you're gonna like about this hotel I guess is the location and that is based from my experience.

Room Tip: Call them to confirm your booking and if you need a nonsmoking room, you have to call and don't...

First let me apologize for the difficulty you experienced during your stay with us last September.
If a non smoking room was reserved, you certainly should not have had to call to confirm that you would recieve a non smoking room. I am not sure what or how this happened, an can only offer my sincere apologies to you. If you would like to discuss further, please feel free to contact me directly at tmezhir@comfortinnthepointe.com.
We have recently converted the property to a non smoking facility - as of March of this year, we are 100% smoke free. I do hope that you will give us another opportunity to provide you the quality service we are known for.
