Hard to find anything positive to say about this place. The bed was comfortable - there, I've found something! Otherwise, maybe one of the worst hotel experiences ever. The rooms smell musty (like they've been smoked in for 20 years without anyone ever opening the window). The room I booked was one of the 'superior' ones - It was large, but very dingy - with hideous, old-fashioned, scruffy decor. Very poor in room facilities and a big, red, porno style heart shaped bath tub in the corner of the room (not as exciting as I am making it sound!) , totally at odds with the rest of the place. It was hard to sleep listening to the air conditioner rattle through its final death throes (our friends in the next room had no air con at all) and hearing other guests and their children rampaging down the corridors at 4 in the morning (i realise this is not the fault of the hotel, but want to give you a picture of how horrible this experience was!) The breakfast was a series of beige things that you had to try to reheat or reconsitute in some way - the only fresh thing on offer was a bowl of frightened looking apples. I was here on a short break with my partner and friends and we couldn't wait to get away. Don't be fooled by the audaciously optimistic photos on their website - this place is a sorry excuse in a western country in the 21st Century.

I did not have high expectations for this hotel but it was still a huge disappointment.

We spent a weekend at this hotel with our large family. We were told that our rooms would be together and they were not even close. Other family members had rooms by the pool and they were decent rooms, others were upstairs. We were located on the other side of the building on the main floor and our rooms were horrible. As soon as we stepped into the room, we were overwhelmed with a moldy/musty smell. One of our rooms even had a dehumidifier going. The shower curtains we covered in mold, and when we asked the front desk to be moved they said "come back and ask later." Front desk staff was friendly but unhelpful when dealing with complaints.
If anyone is occupying the room above, you will hear everything they do. We were awakened at 7:00am on Sunday morning to a noisy maid above us vacuuming. So much for sleeping in.
Thankfully we were only visiting for 2 nights. Okay place for a night, maybe 2. But don’t expect anything of 'Quality'

I don't know what everyone was expecting when they booked this hotel, but it did exactly what it said on the tin. Rooms were more than adequate with free internet. It's dated, but you can't beat it for positioning in relation to Niagara Falls; six miles from the American side. The guy behind the front desk was a bit clueless, didn't have a clue when we asked any questions about Niagara, but this hotel was very good value! (especially for those travelling around America looking for good deals!)

Hotel is older and under renovations now. Clean and large rooms, no cont breakfast, indoor pool with very small hot tub.
Very close to all Niagara attractions, walking distance to almost all US attractions, we even walked to Canada over the Rainbow Bridge.
I would recommend to stay on Canadian side and come across for Cave of the Winds. Candadian side is much nicer, newer and more to do. Best Value is the Adventure Pass with the People Mover bus pass good for 2 days of use.
