“Quality Inn downtown”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 August 2014

We stayed at the Quality Inn on Niagara Falls Blvd. It was nice and clean but no breakfast. You had to go out for meals if the restaurant was closed. Did not have a chance to eat there. The tour bus picked us up at the Inn and returned us there after. The folks at the motel were helpful and friendly and there was coffee in the lobby and computer. Our room slept the 5 of us comfortably.

Room Tip: The pool was good though not deep. The cot (granddaughter) was very comfortable and stayed in it whe...

Good clean budget hotel.
Decent size rooms, most amenities provided, we were there only for one night but found it clean and tidy.
Many restaurants are close, walking distance. Niagara falls is 10 min car ride, or if you prefer walking, it is possible to do so with friends / fit people - would take an hour.

The hotel was an okay place to stay while we visited the falls, but I would find another place if I went back. The room we got was big, so that was nice, but it had a weird smell to it. We got stuck on the 2nd floor and there were NO ELEVATORS! (We were on a long road trip, so we had a lot of stuff.) The beds were hard, the internet cut in and out, I was not impressed with the hotel.

We stayed here because we didn't book until the week before vacation. The dehumidifier in the hall way to our rooms should've been a sign as it overflowed onto the carpet making it sloshy on the carpet. When we opened our room, there was overwhelming mold smell and the ceilings were riddled with active mold. We were reduced to keeping our rooms because of the high tourist season. We didn't take our shoes off in our rooms ever and couldn't believe the state of the bathrooms and stained up linens. Quite possibly one of the worst we've stayed in. Had we other choices we would have gladly moved!! A few of the others in our group thought swimming was a good idea until they got in the pool and the slimy steps and pool floor grossed them completely out. The water smelled like chlorinated swamp. Save your money and go to the Holiday Inn. Had everyone had passports we would have definitely gone to the Canadian side. Disgusting.

We picked this place as it seemed closer to the falls and saw some positive reviews, only to get disappointed. The lobby (& to the restaurant to some extent) area is probably the only cleaner part of the hotel, rest of the hotel including the rooms, walk ways needs a LOT of cleaning. Someone needs to tell them about carpet cleaning, the rooms weren't clean either though the linens and towels were ok to use. Hotel was good from a price point of view and in terms of location, but It was below average and fell below my expectations (which was mainly a roof to stay for the night as we were out for most of the time). Staff at the lobby was nice and serviced my request as soon as possible, but this place needs a lot of improvement in terms of cleanliness, lighting (it was bit dark in the hallways). Had free-wifi and cable TV, which were some of the plus for this place and the quality of the food in the restaurant was ok.

Wrong hotel. This guest is speaking of the Quality on Rainbow Blvd. Their location is "close to the Falls" we are located a short drive from the Falls but nevertheless a drive not close. Please disregard this review for our property and reclassify for the other Quality in Niagara Falls. Thank you.

Price of hotel was not too bad. This hotel was close to many restaurants and the shopping outlet. It was not hard to get to the falls. The room we stayed in was fairly clean; however the lobby and the entrances had papers and dirt all over them. Cigarette butts and garbage all over outside of the building. The halls did not look like they had been vacuumed in months The same papers and dirt were there for the entire time that we stayed which was 3 nights. When we were leaving this am , they attempted to mop; but they did not sweep up the dirt or papers first, and there was still dirt behind the door. The entrance light on the side of hotel was out for 3 days , one would think maybe to hide the dirt. The pool was filthy; water was very cloudy you could not see the bottom of the pool and there was no lights on in the pool room the first night we were there. I would not let my kids go swimming after I saw how dirty the pool was. The hotel must have over booked the room , because someone came walking in , and they were able to get in with the room card. Went to front desk and told them, they were apologetic. We later went out for ice cream last night and were not able to get back in our room, because the other people who tried to get into the room had card which activated our room. The handle on the toilet in our room did not work, and toilet was plugged when we got there. One of the kids flushed the toilet and it started to over flow, my husband turned off the toilet and used a coat hanger to plung the toilet. I did not so much mind that the hotel was outdated , it was the fact that it was dirty and staff were very slow to get around to fixing things. Overall I was disappointed with the hotel, at check out no one asked if we enjoyed our stay and there was not a survey; which leads me to believe that management does not care about the customers. We traveled from Arizona to see the Falls, we stayed over night , I will make this short
almost $200.00 a night for a dump, dirty room, old furniture, the location is right on the street that part was ok, the staff was ok, but I would stay in my 66 years alive I have never stayed in a Hotel as dirty as this
