I have stayed here about 5 times now, and most recently just this past weekend. I have never been disappointed. The room has the rustic lodge feel which I am looking for when I think of the Adirondacks and skiing. I love the touches of the log bed frames and dressers. The tv's in the room are not big but I'd say they are a decent size (you won't be watching a heck of a lot of tv anyway most likely if you're coming here) and they have dvd players built in which is nice. The Great Room is nice with a fireplace and feels very homey. Hospitality is always fantastic as the staff are very accomodating. I've stayed in The Eagles Nest twice and that is such a special unit - huge! and beautiful!! lots and lots of wood going on, I love it. It's also conveniently located 5-10 minutes away from Gore and right next to Cafe Sarah and Bar Vino - two awesome spots to check out for food if you're there.

Room Tip: I stayed in Room 2 most recently and thought it was very nice with a king sized bed. I believe room...

Ski hats/helmets off to the owners who have turned what appears to be an old, small town motel into a perfect Adirondack style ski hideaway. With Gore Mountain just 10 minutes away, the Alpine is truly the best place to stay! The vinBar is just two doors down for a wonderful dinner and Sara's Cafe is just two doors in the other direction for a great pre-ski breakfast. Very clean, comfortable bed, and nicely decorated in true Adirondack style. 18" of fresh powder was a nice compliment to a great stay! We'll be back for sure!

Room Tip: Room #1 is next to street, so it was a little noisy with early morning snow clearing and diner patro...

Stayed there with my ski group and had a wonderful time! The staff was great and the room was super clean and lots of extra" goodies". The Breakfast was just what i was looking for in the morning before i hit the hill. The beds are huge and comfy and the heat in the room worked well. Just mins from Gore this is a place i would come back to soon!

Room Tip: Spend some extra and get the Jacuzzi room! Soo nice after a day skiing.

My wife and I recently returned to PA after a 4 night stay at the Alpine Lodge. We have stayed here on multiple previous occasions. Room #3 was comfortable and well appointed. There is plenty of hot water in the shower. The service staff in the Great Room were helpful and provided excellent supplemental information about the area. There is a grocery store across the street. BarVino is close and a great place to eat. Sarah's pastries is just up the street. We ate at the Lodge at Gore and had two great inexpensive meals. We also had a wonderful meal in the beautiful bar at The Friends Lake Inn. The only negative was that the housekeeping service at the Alpine needed some prompting to resupply shampoo, toilet paper, coffee, and tissues. Overall we enjoyed again staying at the Alpine Lodge and will stay there again when we return to North Creek. Our AT&T mobile phones worked well from the room. We have noticed a definite improvement in North Creek over the past few years. (David & Debbie, Allentown, PA).

We spent valentines weekend at the lodge. It was very nicely decorated and very clean. We had a nice king size bed with very nice bedding which was also very comfy. Bathroom was nice (though only thing I would add a light over the sink for when you get ready) water was very hot actually which was nice. Everyone that we had met was very friendly. And love that everything was right there in walking distance. And also Gore Mtn is right up the road. We would for sure stay again.

Glad you enjoyed your Valentine's Day Stay! It is one of our best assett's is that we are within the small downtown area of North Creek - many shops, bars, restaurants within walking distance. We are very proud of our cute little town that has lots of new small independent businesses steadily opening!

North Creek is coming back to life. The Alpine lodge in the center of town is a nice new addition.
Very comfortable and nicely appointed with Adirondack charm.Very clean large bathroom with whirlpool tub for after skiing .Centrally located and 5 minutes to Gore Mtn.The new continental breakfast was a nice treat and quite tasty .I have Verizon and had 3 bars in my room .When in town make it a point to visit Barvino for dinner and drinks. Petesahh ,across the street has a great pizza and Basil and Wicks ,3 minute drive, has a great pub menu and nightly specials that rock.
Over all a fun experience.
