Stayed for 1 week during Mid December 2013. Excellent location...very near to the Beau Vallon Beach. The place is perfect for a newly married couple. The Hotel Apartment is spacious with large Hall, Kitchen space, bedroom and Bathrooms. The furnitures are new and modern. Kitchen is well equipped with basic utensils/fridge/washing machine/microwave. Good clean swimming pool with staff cleaning it everyday. Hotel staff and management are very friendly and helpful. Renting a car is a must in Seychelles. Good room service and there are maids cleaning your room daily. Spacious balcony to sit during sunset and have a cup of hot tea/coffee. Definitely better and economical than conventional big brand hotels. Had a great time and wish we could stay there forever.

Room Tip: Book a room on top Floor!!!

We stayed for 3 nights at the Palm Seychelles. The apartments are spacious and elegantly decorated. The views are remarkable no matter which window you are looking through. We really felt at home there. Christine, who manages the place, is really helpful.

Hiring a car is almost a must to move around but I guess that is the case almost anywhere on Mahe.

Hopefully will be returning for a longer stay.

At first, the hotel is located in beautiful location, and it is well design, the apartment inside is well design, nice decoration, the view from the room is wonderful, so everything till now is very good, but there some things they should take care to make the hotel very good.
The bed is not good clean, in the kitchen, most of cooking tools is not clean and too old, and if you want to cook by yourself, you will have problem,
Daily cleaning is not good, so you should serve yourself and clean more thing which the service staff don't do it correctly.
The hotel manager (Ms. Christine) is the only person in this hotel can help you, and she stay less time in the hotel, so you can't find anyone help you after she go, you should call her, for me it is difficult as my SIM card not work in Seychelles, so I need her more time but I can't reach her as there is no other way to contact, and there is no replacement for her when she go back to home.

Room Tip: The high level room with sea view is wondeful

We have been to the Seychelles three times before but this was our first time at the Palm and it was wonderful. The complex is up a hill but I have got to say the views are to die for but we hired a car to explore the island so it wasn't a problem. The apartments are of a very high specification and the beds were so comfortable, brilliant kitchen facilities, great hot showers and a super pool to swim in. We used to see the pool man at the crack of dawn, checking filters and cleaning it. All the staff were lovely and the lady (Christine) who takes care of the complex is first class she sorts trips told us all the local tips of where to visit and made us feel at home and nothing it seems is too much trouble for her. The Seychelles are stunning and I only have one complaint and that is we had to come home.

Room Tip: No tip required just book.

We stayed for 10 days at Palm Seychelles this summer and had a lovely time. We chose it as my husband's sister lives on Mahé and she looked at various places for us to stay before recommending it.

The rooms are all tastefully and simply decorated with comfortable, stylish furniture; an open plan, well equipped kitchen; a large balcony; and an en suite to each spacious bedroom. All areas have efficient, working air conditioning units and fans (essential!) and the curtains were thick enough to block out much of the bright morning sun.

The staff were polite and helpful and rooms were cleaned daily at our convenience.

The pool was a good size and cleaned every day with plenty of comfortable sun loungers and tables. The beach was a 10 minute walk at most, with small children. It's down a quite track for most of the way and then a short walk down a quite road (mostly paved) and there are various points where you can get on to the beach, either by turning right onto a quite part of the beach, or left through the nearest hotel, or further along straight onto the main strip. There are three or four hotels and several restaurants where you can have lunch or dinner as well as a Wednesday night food market full of stalls selling local food.

The nearest shop is on the way to the beach, maybe 7 minutes walk.

Room Tip: The rooms overlooking the pool are in a slightly better position - marginally less far to walk each...

We stayed here for 2 weeks as part of a wedding party and from start to end we had nothing short of a fantastic stay. The owner/manageress of the property along with all the staff were so helpful and friendly, we felt well looked after the entire time.

The apartments were clean and comfortable with a great layout. The master bedroom was spacious, with lots of storage. The beds were made every day and the ensuite bathroom refreshed and clean towels given along with lovely flowersplaced round the room. When we first arrived, we had towels shaped into swans greeting us and every couple of days the fruit bowl was filled with all sorts of exotic fruit.

The kitchen is furnished with basic utensils, pots and pans - with plates and cutlery enough for 4 people. Washing up liquid and cleaning materials are generally left over from previous guests, so when we ran out, we bought a big bottle and left it there.

The pool area is maintained pretty much everyday in the morning and it cleaned by the staff. There is an outdoor kitchen area, which we were allowed to use for BBQ.

The property itself, is down the road from Bel Ombre, not far from The Le Meridien Fishermans Cove hotel. It is about a 5-10 minute walk from the main road through mostly residential areas. We had a car for our entire stay which made it easy to get to. We parked the car inside the apartment property, which is closed off by an automatic gate (radio key-fob is provided on check-in). Outside of hours, there was a friendly security guy who was always around making sure everything was ok.

We did walk from the apartments to the beaches and to Beau Vallon town a few times. This is quite a walk but we didn't mind doing this. There are a few local shops nearby which are about a 10 minute walk. Going on previous comments left here, the walk to and from the apartment is no way near the dangerous, unpaved death trap that I read about. We did some research before we arrived and knew where the apartments were located. A little research goes a long way. All the locals generally kept to themselves when we walked to the apartments and didn't bother us.
One thing I would say, if staying out late and walking back - take a small torch. Unless you're in Victoria, there is very little street lighting in general, even on main roads, and it can get very dark around 7-8pm. Having said this, at no time did I feel in danger when walking anywhere. You will find that most places around the seychelles, especially resorts are quite a way from the main roads and so your best options to get around are driving, being driven or walking (a fair bit!)

I will definitely stay at the Palm again. Big thank you to all the staff for making our stay so comfortable!

Only stayed 1 night after yacht charter, so a brief stay. There seem to be about 10-15 units, only about 2-3 were occupied when we were there

Positives
Very comfortable
Good wifi (paid)
Good pool
Kitchen reasonably well set up
We checked in early, and out late, didn't seem to be a problem at all

Negatives
New property, but maintenance seems lacking in areas
You need a car, its 500m off bus route, and too far to walk from beaches
