The Dordogne area is one of the nicest of France, with lush nature, water sports, horse and hiking activities, monuments and excellent food. This "gite" is as fine as any to explore the region, provided you have a car and your group is quite mobile. The place is in the hills in a spot of easy beauty, but you wouldn't want to walk up from the village of Vitrac unless you are fit and determined.
The appartments are free standing and well equipped, with nice extras, such as an equipped barbecue and a thick album of tourist information. Everything works without problems. The owners are friendly, welcoming people.
