This is a lovely, small cafe in the mountains with great views over Algajola. We parked up on the side of the main road just before the turning down to pigna. Lots of other cars were doing the same thing.
The first time we came we arrived about 3pm so there was only a choice of 4 tapas dishes. However these did not disappoint and as it was quiet we got a great table on the terrace with a fantastic view. Lovely place just to hang out in the sun.
We enjoyed it so much we came back a week later whilst staying in Calvi. This time we got there for 1pm so we could sample the rest! It was much busier at this time and we still got a table up on the top level. Not as good viewing point but the food made up for it. We ordered 6 of the 10 tapas dishes (mainly vegetarian) and they were all delicious. Each dish is about €4/5. I would go back again if staying longer!

A lot of positive feedback has been written about this place. It's all true. Best to go here around sunset but keep in mind that space is limited so either arrive early or late. Although it is amazing what the staff produces from the small kitchen and bar, you have to be a bit patient when it is crowded.

This is a nice little cafe wonderfully located on the edge of the village overlooking the coastline below. It features a small terrace with tables crowded next to each other in limited space. Ordinarily, this would not be a problem. But during our lunch, there were quite a few smokers. It was impossible to really enjoy our lunch with cigarette smoke drifting under our noises much of the time. We don’t know why such a thing is allowed given the small space of the terrace. The cafe advertises that it serves bio-veggies from its garden. Can you appreciate the contradiction of eating bio-veggies in air filled with streams of cigarette smoke? Smoking must be encouraged since there was an ash tray sitting on every table. In any event, we ordered several tapas which were good but nothing special. Portions were on the small side and prices on the high side, but everything seems to be costly in Corsica. The house red wine was very good as was the efficient service from the friendly server. There is also a friendly kitty inside that likes to be petted. As wonderful as the setting is, we would not go back because of the cigarette smoke and can’t recommend eating here despite the great views.

Wonderful little tapas bar. Simple food, great for that lunch time snack with gorgeous views. Drinks well priced. Lovely walk through a charming village. Peace and rest, a great way to spend a couple of hours chilling out. Would visit again

This café is good for an afternoon snack while the restaurants in the nice little town are closed. We had the 'tapas series' for EUR 37 as a family - is was really delicious. Prices are fairly high for the food - but in the afternoon as the only place open (at least in october, as far as we found) I suppose I wouldn't have the cheapest prices if I were in their shoes ;-)
