The staff was very wonderful and helpful. I didn't get a chance to see the town, but you'll get a good night sleep because the streets are empty after 7 pm.
I think you will enjoy your stay here. I know that I did.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights, separated by two nights in Paris.

It doesn't look much from the outside but inside it is a real delight. Very nice old building with lovely interior design. It would be considered a boutique hotel in the UK.

We had different rooms on both nights and both were lovely (the brown bathroom suite in room 4 was the only thing we saw in the hotel that looked slightly dated and out of place). The building is very solidly constructed so there was virtually no noise from either within or outside.

The restaurant is very good. The meal from the Euro31 set menu on our first night in particular was exceptionally good and of a standard that many London restaurants charging three times the price would struggle to match. A good continental breakfast (freshly squeezed OJ) can be had in your room or in the nice little bar downstairs.

The staff were good too. Helpful and efficient. We appeared to have been given a discount for our second night without asking for one. Also, when we arrived back from Paris for our second night there was a lovely chocolate Easter egg left in our room, which was a nice touch.

Another bonus is that the hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the train station so we got the train in and out of Paris rather than drive, which was great.

I highly recommend this place and if we are in that neck of the woods again we will definitely stay there.

The lobby, courtyard, bedroom, everything was very well decorated. Very friendly atmosphere.
We borrowed bicycles from the owners and had a lovely ride around. Again the purpose of my stay was to escape from Paris with my boyfriend and we took the train which was very convenient.

Arriving in such a small town you could hardly believe to be able to find such a lovely hotel. From the outside you would never guess how charming it is inside. We were in the area for working purposes and we stayed 4 nights. The rooms are all different, very clean and not dark at all - just need to open the shutter!!!! The owner as well as the waiters are very kind and helpful. You can also find a special deal - room & breakfast (small buffet, fresh orange juice...) & 3 courses dinner for 98€. Therefore I would not hesitate to go back again. :))

We stayed here for one night on our way back to the UK. It was a very hot Saturday evening and the town and hotel seemed deserted apart from several youths hanging about. We were glad of the hotel's locked car park! The hotel and room were dark and cool which was welcome and the dinner very nice and was good value but I wouldn't recommend Angerville for those wishing to explore a quaint French town. We had to leave early so didn't have breakfast (13 euros pp) but there is a wonderful boulangerie directly opposite the hotel I can recommend.

With a mixture of modern and traditional French character this hotel provides everything you need for your stay. Ours was a business trip and with free wi-fi and an excellent restaurants we were well catered for.
The owners have made changes to the hotel incorporating modern features like the glass wall to the inner courtyard without affecting it's ambience.
The restaurant provides great food, with a good variety of dishes.
If you are looking for good hotel in this area then this should be your first choice.

Standing as an elegant monument in the market square, the hotel has been a feature of the town for hundreads of years. Modernised without compromising it's historical character and ambiance, it has all of the comforts you would expect, whilst keeping a traditional French aspect.
The hoteliers may appear a little forbidding at first glance, but any attempts to try Fench are positively received and they do warm up gently. Dinner is elegant, with good food well presented and true to the area, served at a pleasant pace, and the accommodation is warm in winter but delightfully cool in the summer heat.

Room Tip: the electric shutter switch is near the door to the rooms!
