“A nice middle of the road hotel”
Reviewed 27 August 2013

We stayed in this hotel for four nights it was fine. The bed was comfy but the room and bathroom were tiny. I don't have any major complaints about this hotel but I wouldn't rave about it either.

The pool was fantastic though in the middle summer

+nice refreshing pool large enough to do laps
+clean comfi rooms, bathroom looked renovated
+friendly staff
+ac was very welcome this summer

-no coffemaker even though on "hotel.com" it stated in the confirmation that there would be some.
-had some chicken salad in the restaurant . it was very tasty but found some chicken bits that were completely raw! Also had to send back the Steak Haché for the kids as it was way undercooked.

This hotel is in the country side not far from the Pont de Gard the WiFi only worked in the
lobby very poor for a Best Western, the air conditioning was not working in our room, very
uncomfortable, it was in the 90's when we were there, The room was very small and there
was no fridge or coffee pot. No towels offered for use in their pool. Overall not a hotel I would
recommend for even a one night stay.

Hotel is well situated in the middle of "Provence" not far at all from all the main places you want to visit : Nimes , Arles, Avignon, Orange, Montpellier and of course the "market places for Provence". Very nice ones to see is on Wednesday at St Remy de Provence and on Saturday at "Arles".
Hotel was very nice, we had the room 308 which is a superior one. Very clean and cosy. The personnel of the hotel "reception , restaurant" are very nice and always willing to satisfy the client to be sure that you are happy and all is going well for you. The restaurant has a very good "cook", you enjoy the meals that he prepares that are typically of the region with all the tastes and very nice presentation. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and enjoyed as well the swimming pool after a long day of walking in the sunshine of Provence. Very relaxing, A nice place to go.

Room Tip: Superieur rooms are very nice.

This hotel is located in the country side half an hour from Avignon and Nimes. The room we had was a superior, which was without mini-bar and without balcony unfortunately. The room was modern, but with a toilette separate from the bathroom which the French people seem to like. The light in the room went out twice...so we had to call the personnel I the reception for help. They seem to have some problem with the electricity in the hotel.

The breakfast had everything, hot drinks, juice, croissants, sandwiches, egg and bacon. The coffee was not good though and in general the breakfast was just standard, nothing extra.

The hotel had a parking just in front of the hotel which was practical. They also had a outdoor pool which seemed nice. When we were there, it was too cold to use it though.

The restaurant was normal, nothing special.

Even if I think that the price is exaggerated for this hotel since I think it's a very simple and normal one, I though have to remark that the personnel was fantastic! The people in the reception was very helpful and with a smile on their face. The guy at the breakfast restaurant was so helpful and generous. So to conclude, the personnel is perhaps five stars and the hotel a vague three star.

A perfectly acceptable hotel. We arrived here for a single night's stay and were immediately pleased with the comfort level of our rooms. We slept well in the comfy beds. I was unhappy with how cramped my bathroom was to the point that several of our travel companions came to my room to see how tiny the bathroom was. My bathroom was a bit of a maze. You had to open the door, push your body into a small space and then close the door in order to access the toilet and shower area. Each room had its own bedroom and bathroom configuration, so other people were luckier than I was.

I was pleased about free Wi-Fi. When traveling in Europe, I rely on the free Wi-Fi to check email and access the internet. Free Wi-Fi is greatly appreciated! We also enjoyed the foosball table and game room as well as the patio in the back. We had a wonderful evening where 20+ elderly German's drank and sang their drinking songs. It was quite entertaining.

We had dinner at the hotel and it was fine but not great. The couscous and Turkey stew was just ok. We also had breakfast the next morning and it was ok -cereal and croissants.

Disappointments: The safe in our room wasn't working. The pool was broken and could not be used. If you are stuck in an isolated area like this hotel, then all the amenities need to be functional.

The Shower literally came off the wall and fell apart in my wife's hand, causing her to slip in the bath.
No minibar or fridge.
1 available powerpoint for the whole room.
Television is old and not reliable.
Car park dusty and wind swept.
Internet connection pathetic.
Food was disgusting.
The poultry red raw and the pork tough as leather. Grossly Over priced.
This caused my wife to leave her food and rush to the conveniences.
The waiter refused to speak English and the menu was in french only.
Extremely overpriced and well below standard.
