“Breathtaking”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 July 2014

The cliffs of Etretat are located on either side of the pebble stone beach. They can easily be accessed via the sea boulevard. Well kept paths allow for a beautiful walk, lasting up to a few hours.

Given the absence of railing the cliffs have preserved a natural, raw look. You can approach the edge and take adrenaline pumping looks into the abyss. Off course, caution is advised.

Some cliffs have particular shapes (like an elephant) and the sights from atop them are simple breathtaking. Don’t forget your camera !

“Scenic and Serene”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 June 2014

Situated towards the North West of France Etretat was quite a discovery for us. We were actually driving towards the Normandy landings and chalked this out on our map.
It was such a lovely sight. The entire shoreline with blue waters and limestone rocks was just amazing. Chilly winds with seagulls all around, A quiet and simple town.
Gosh if we hadn't planned ahead, we would've spent a few days there.

even my well travelled family had never heard of this place but its well worth a visit; if you like nature walks, its even better; parking can be difficult

“Life time experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 June 2014

This place is so under rated. One of the best view and experience we ever had. Walking along the thousands feet high cliffs park in a stormy day one day and sunny blue sky another day - an experience that can't never be described unless you are physically there. Don't miss!

“Don't forget to wait until the tides are low!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 May 2014 via mobile

Obviously beautiful view from above but if you wait until low tides, you get to walk closer to the cliffs. Good shoes are a must since you walk on wet pebbles.
