While the Sophia Botique is desingned for couples, we stayed with our family in two rooms and had an amazing stay. The staff is over accomidating, the rooms are charming and not that of a typical Hotel, breakfast is custom made, and the location, just outside of Oia is awesome. You can have breakfast by your own personal private pool or out by the main pool. You can catch an amazing sunset without the crowds of downtown Oia. And the staff is there to make sure your biggest challenge is how fast you can get into relaxation mode. Top notch property!

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the main pool with a great view.

We just spent a week in one of the suites (106)at Sophia Boutique Hotel in Foinikia for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect.
The scene was picturesque with a beautiful view on Oía and stunning sunsets every night.
The service and the cleanliness in our room and other facilities were impeccable.
The breakfast (delivered to our room every morning at the time we asked for) and bar food were delicious and well presented and the bar staff/ chefs were very friendly and professional.
The 15-20 minute walk to Oía is a nice workout but theres a bus too if needed.
To summarise it: We couldn’t have wished for more!
Thank you Marilena, Nikos, Andreas and everyone else for the great memories, you made us feel like part of the family and we will definitely be back!

We could not have asked for a better stay at Sophia Boutique Hotel. First off, the staff was phenomenal. Nick is an excellent bartender, and the night manager (I will missspell her name if I try, so just look for the lovely woman with an Australian accent) is amazing; I cannot say enough good things about her. But genuinely every staff member is great and so welcoming.

The grounds are stunning and the location is private yet still has amazing food and bars close by. You can walk to Oia in about 10 minutes. Our room was beautiful, clean and came with everything you could need (they even included loofahs!). Every day we were given a breakfast menu where we could select our breakfast the night before. We received nightly treats around 7pm. This hotel is the definition of relaxation and luxury. And it’s very romantic!

Thank you, Sophia Boutique Hotel. Your attention to detail and amazing customer service made our stay on Santorini better than we could have imagined. We will definitely be back!

I have allready been to the Sophia Luxury suites in Imerovigli, so ofcourse now I had to try the brand new Sophia Boutique. Finikia is near the famous Oia, which I had not seen before. Since I fell in love with the Calderaview of the Sophia in Imerovigli, now I was very curious to see this side of the island. The view of the Sophia Boutique positively surprised me. In june you can see the sun set in the sea and you can see Oia complete to the point of it, from your own terrace/balcony.
The Santorini Boutique has a nice poolarea for everyone to use and there is a lounge area with a bar. The most quiet ones are the rooms in the back with the seperate privat poolareas. (Room 108, 109, 110).
For the beginning of my stay I started in room 109 (Ekaßi). Later on I changed to room 101 and I will write a seperate review of that one too. Room 109 is looking exactly like my pictures. It has a safe, a little fridge, a television, good wifi, a perfect airconditioning, a lovely bed/mattress and a fabulous Large bathroom! The terrace is not immediately at your room. As you can see in the pictures, you have to take a few steps to get to your private pool area. But because it is in the back of the hotel, you still have a lot privacy and it is quiet there. In my pictures you can see what I mean. I loved the hammock in which I fell asleep... and the plungepool of this room looks like the biggest. It also has a jacuzzi feature in it.
The breakfast can be ordered at any time between 8 and 11.30 as you wish. If there is a special reason to have it at a different time, the staff will do anything to make it happen. You can choose from a big selection of dishes and drinks to order what you would like for breakfast and they will bring it to you room, your poolarea or where ever you would like to have it. To me this always feels like reall luxury.
Ofcourse for Santorini you have to be prepared to walk a lot of steps, but Finikia and Oia don't have that many steps. The road to the Sophia boutique has some steps, but it is more easy to walk. If you inform the hotel about your arrival, they'll make shure somebody will help you with your luggage.
Although the Sophia Boutique is new and started on the first of June 2018, the staff is adjusting and is getting to work as a good team. Don't hesitate to ask them anything, because they will do whatever they can to help you and arrange what you like.
I definately can recommend it and I'd love to go back next year.

Room Tip: Most rooms see the June-sunset and Oia. (1 room doesnot, enjoy the views from the bar, lounge and pool area)
