Dinner here first night in Santorini. Perfect sunset-watching location, excellent food and first rate service. Pleasant wait staff providing prompt attention, starting with hostess, Maja. Popular place as diners all get up to take photos of the setting sun during their meals. If you are seated in the view path to the sunset, you will have others intermittently blocking your view and standing near your table. This is just the reality and it didn't bother us, but may bother some.
We shared three dishes: the zucchini millefeuille to start, and a Greek salad and the lamb pieces with pita and lettuce salad. All dishes used fresh ingredients and light olive oils, and the lamb especially was roasted and flavourful. Great dipping sauces. Order bread (which was just ok) to mop up the lemon and olive oil sauce bathing the zucchini. Delicious.
Our bill for the 3 dishes above and two glasses of wine came to 68 euros, which we paid using Visa. Reasonable cost for fine al fresco dining and excellent choice for a special occasion. Reservations are recommended, especially if you are requesting one of their best tables. Their hotel guests get priority in table choice, but if you have a reservation, you will likely get a better table than if you just show up. We just showed up at 7:30 (completely unplanned), and got the 2nd last table. Sun was setting around 8:20 at the end of July.
We enjoyed everything so much, before leaving we made reservations for our last night.
