We went here on our last night in Oia for one more of the famous sunsets, and were not disappointed. It has to be one of the best spots on the island to watch the sun go down.
We had the mussels for an appetizer, and they were excellent. They tasted very fresh, 8 in total for the serving with an almost buttery wine sauce. For dinner, the Mrs had the fettuccine, and I had the chicken skewers with potatoes. The fettuccine was amazing, and one of the Mrs's favorite meals of our trip. The chicken skewers were flavorful and perfectly cooked, but the portion was somewhat small. The potatoes were some of the best I'd had in Greece, but again, the serving was small, smaller even than I'd seen served to other patrons, which I thought was strange (maybe they were tying to tell me something!)
The service here, however, was slow. But, it certainly wasn't for a lack of hustle. The place is big, and the waiters were sprinting all over the place to serve people. There just weren't enough people working there though it seemed, as it took them a long time to meet us at the entrance and show us our table, and considering the simplicity of the order, that took a long time as well.
